More than just Friends

CHAPTER 1

AMBER

I woke up with someone throwing water

'Jacob, i am going to kill you'

Jacob was laughing his head off, well he won't be laughing when he finds what i am about to do to him.

I flew at him and i tackled him to the floor, i threw some playful punches at his chest,

'Ok Amber you got me' Jacob cried

I rolled off him, laughing i looked at him and smiled, and he smiled back with a twinkle in his eyes.

We both have been friends since birth, we do everything together. When he is upset i am there for him, when i am upset he is there for me. Jacob has brown hair and blue eyes and he is taller than me.

This is why i fell in love with him he is kind, nice, cute and everything you would want for a boyfriend. Every time he dates a girl, it feels like a big punch hits my heart. But i know he will never feel this way about me so i would die if he ever found about that secret.

'Why did you spray water at me'

'Because its funny' Jacob replied

i sent him a death stare thats shows him i will get him back soon enough. He seemed to get my message

'No you won't Amber, anyway we need to get ready for school, see u there byyye' Jacob left before i could say anything.

I looked into my closet hoping to fine something great to wear, to may impress Jacob.

I chose a dress, with tiny colourful flowers all over it. To go with the outfit i chose a black belt, Black flats and some silver bracelets. (There is a picture of her outfit.)

I light curled my black/brown hair, and i put on a little bit of makeup.

i looked at myself in the mirror, happy with what i was seeing. I was finally ready to go to school

I walked through the doors of my school, spotting Jacob flirrting with one of the cheerleaders.There goes that punch in the heart again. Once he saw me he walked over towards me.

'Hi Amber'

'Hey Jacob'

'Hows life' I asked

'Just great, hey sorry about this morning'

'It doesn't matter, Jac' i said

He winked at me, he pulled me into a hug.

'Love you Amber' he whispered

I know he meant it as a friend but still i wish it meant more. I pulled away from the hug and looked up to him

'I know, you wanna catch up later?' i asked

'Of course'

Jacob and i talked for a while. He turned his head back towards the cheerleader, he winked at her, she giggled and turned away.

'I have to go' I said trying not to choke up tears

'Are you alright,? Amber i know your trying not to cry'

'Its jut the wind, I will see you later at my house bye' I said

I walked away, as Jacob said goodbye. I really wanted to tell him how i feel but i know it won't be the same for him.
