I'm sitting on my couch in my new york apartment watching the six o'clock news. The normal headlines are about covid 19 ending and everything going back to normal.

The news reporter began to speak about my old bf Harry. He was in the band 1 direction with me when we were young. He was my first proper bf and he was amazing to me. When the band broke up we did too. I miss him. The news reporter spoke about him starting tour again. I was interested and decided I'd just do something stupid and buy tickets when they come out. They'll sell out in seconds though so I wouldn't get one, obviously.

I check his website and there is a countdown for when they go one sale. It read 1hour 29minutes 41seconds.

An hour and a half!? I knew I'd forget about it and it wasn't important anyway.

Around and hour later I remembered my silly thought but reconsidered buying a ticket. If I got one everyone would surround me. I couldn't go in with a hood up and sunglasses. I decided to message Harry's manager. I had their information and we have communicated before.

I sent an email and said I wanted to surprise Harry by being in the audience but no one else finding out. Surprisingly after 10 minutes I got a reply. It was many paragraphs long so I began to read.

Hello Louis.

Thank you for your email and it is nice to hear from you again. I think we can figure out a way to bring you in through the side doors and have you up in the higher seats that are usually for family and friends. He won't be expecting anyone else to be there so of he sees you up there randomly it will he an amazing surprise.

If you are very sure about this we can put this in place and have everything sorted for you. Send if you are ASAP.

Wow. They were actually willing to do this. I straight away replied explaining that I really wanted to and appreciated the help.

After an hour I checked the time and i was late to buy tickets. I knew this wouldn't change anything though because my master plan would be free and very exciting.

The managers sent me highly detailed information for times to arrive at and how to get it and where we'd meet to get to the high stands.

The concert was for next week so I had a little while to emotionally prepare. I haven't actually realised what I'm doing. I'm going to see my ex bf sing live. My ex bf! This was going to be crazy.
