The Bat Cave two weeks later.

3rd P.O.V

Bruce Wayne aka Batman has spent the last two weeks searching for information on the man with the horns, who has been linked to Grundy's resurrection. The sudden disappearance of Cheetah after the incident added to his suspicion, that the incident was not accidental.

Deathstroke also reappeared in Gotham along with Shiva, two others who disappeared immediately after their failed capture.

These and the other incidents were not random as the time period they were in was extremely narrow.

The question remained but who was the mystery man, the uncertainty Luke felt at his name was apparent but when it was someone from his past, whom in particular.

Bruce Wayne: Don't forget to look up Norse mythology.

Noted in the recorder.

But then the Brother's Eye detected movement at the entrance and Hal Jordan aka Green Lantern appeared on camera.

When Bruce let him in, Hal walked up to him.

Hal Jordan: I've looked into our mystery woman; I've also checked with the Guardians. Looks like the energy signature on her arrival is similar to the one Luke left.

Bruce looked at him with raised eyebrows.

Bruce Wayne: It looks like, although her identity is still unknown, she came from his universe. It won't be easy to find out who she is until she wakes up. I'll have to check out Scandinavian Mythology, maybe it'll give me the information I'm missing...

Hal Jordan: Or they will be inaccurate, we know very well that they also wrote a lot about Amazons but it was far from the truth.

Bruce Wayne: You're right about that.

Then one of the satellites that Brother Eye uses picked up an incident in the area of Khandaq.

Bruce was alerted and quickly hit a few buttons on his keyboard and zoomed in on the incident.

Hal Jordan: What happened in Khandaq?

Bruce Wayne: We have a problem, when Black Adam's power was taken away; a vacuum was created which outside forces took advantage of. The city has come under the control of Intergang and other mercenary groups. But the main problem is something else, and that's Sabbac. With the absence of his nemesis, Black Adam, he can gain control of the country, which poses a problem.

Hal Jordan: Well, we have to fix that, the world has lost trust in us and we have to regain that trust. These people may not like to see us but they are innocent and they need to be helped.

Bruce Wayne: You're right, call a meeting of the League.

The League meeting was the very next day.

Batman was the last to arrive.

Flash: Bruce what's so important that you had to call us first thing in the morning.

Batman quietly walked over to the table, tapped a few buttons on the keyboard and it appeared on the monitors of the others.

Batman: Khandaq, without Black Adam, came under the control of the Intergang and other mercenary organizations which reappeared as soon as Superman's regime fell. They use technology from the planet Apokolips. Worse, however, are reports that the undead have begun to appear in the old and historic parts of the city.

Supergirl: Undead?

Batman: Yes, undead, that can only mean one thing.

Wonder Woman: The return of Sabbac, since Shazam and Black Adam are gone, he can freely gain the throne and power over the land.
