Since it's the past,
So shall it be.
Yet the dark feeling just won't let go.
As I try to recall the stark memory,
It seems that whenever i unlock the door of the past,
I will be trapped in despair.
I hear her voice,
Which echoes in my opaqued mind,
Painfully slashing my heart,
Leaving scars behind.
I asked myself many questions which took up all the space in my head,
But was it worth it?
I remember her smile which shone brightly and her laugh which fluttered in the air.
But it wasn't for me.
No matter how fast i tried to run or how many steps I took to catch up to her,
She just kept on walking futher away from me.
I stopped my feet from taking any more steps.
Soon, Igave up.
Hiding in a corner and watch had become my routine.
Although many things happened,
Darkness started to fade away.
Soon, I had slowly abandoned my routine.
The scar taught me a lesson,
But time became my cure.
