I turned around and saw a woman wearing a black t-shirt, short red-black skirt, big black boots and a bracelet with spikes. Definitely goth. She had black hair tied in two pigtails and beautiful green eyes. "Who are you? And where's Gibbs?" "Gibbs left.. And I'm... I'm trynna get a job in ncis." I explained her. She was looking at me with a kind of a weird expression on her face. Like I wasn't welcome here. "Okay.." she was still 'examining' me and I was starting to feel uncomfortable. "So, you are?" "Abby." she answered shaking my hand."Well nice to meet you Abby, I'm Johanna. It's actually Johanna Zoe. Eaton." "I think I'll call you Jo." she said and put on a nice friendly, cute face. I smiled in relief. I was finally starting to feel more comfortable."I'm a forensic, wanna see my lab? I mean, I found you here alone not doing anything. Well, just standing here. You know, it kind of freaks me out. Come here." I followed her to her lab. She was so friendly. And a goth. Literally the two things I would never imagine to go together, but here they are.
"Wow" I whispered, and she heard. "What?" "nothing just... Didn't imagine a forensic lab like this completely. It's so big." "I know! Cool, isn't it?" I nodded. Next hour she was showing me around her lab, talking about every each thing she has there. I didn't remember even a half of it when she finished. There were just too many things. Forensics is not really my field, never was, but I've always been admiring forensic scientists. And Abby talked about her job with such joy. When she finally finished, she asked: "So, what do you think?" "Abby your lab is great really! I actually like it in here." "yay! I'm glad you like it" she smiled and hugged me. I hugged back for a second. I should be feeling strange or something but I simply don't, Abby's such beautiful happy soul. And in a second I started to feel like I've been knowing her since forever, as a friend, not as a co-worker. So did she, I think.
We started chatting about usual stuff, girl stuff, everything we could think of. So the second hour was spent mostly laughing and jabbering. Somehow it ended in... Dancing. "And what kind of music do you listen to?" she asked me "well, depending on my mood, you know, sometimes rock, sometimes edm." "edm?" "oh, electronic dance music. Not sure if you'd like it." "you can dance?" and she cought me. I didn't quite want everyone to know that I dance but now I had to tell Abby. "Well I dance, yeah..." "Really?! Oh yes!! C'mon show me some moves!" and now she's even asking me to dance. Great. "No Abby I can't-" "yes you can!" she shouted and loud music started filling the room. "No way" I tried, but she wouldn't give it up. "Okay.." and so I slowly started grooving to the rhytm then spinning and dancing. A few second later Abby joined me. We were having so much fun. At first I felt really silly but that feeling had soon left me. And as much as things sound strange, we really enjoyed dancing around like kids while listening to Kid Rock and I just felt so free again, like I've finally met someone that can make me feel like I'm at home, forgetting all worries. Then Abby took out a camera and started taking pictures of me. I was laughing so hard it hurt, funny how we can loose control easily. But when I looked at Abby again I saw her standing still and laughing, her eyes looking at the door direction. "What?" I asked and realized. I turned around and saw Gibbs at the door starring at me.
