The fall of the Empress

backstory: Y/n POV: my story begins in a broken home in middle of a plagued city, the city of Dunwall. at first the city was flourishing, new inventions left and right incredible new technology made from whale oil that can be used as power source. but then a mysterious plague came no one knew what to do first the poor were dying left and right but not soon the rich and protected also got the plague. i was 10 wen the plague started to show itself and my parents simple fisherman died of the plague. the new inventions that should have revolutionized the city became a creator of terror and oppression for those who lived a normal life, living turned into hell and a fight for survival. the rich were protected in their giant homes and continued to feast on the ones under them. in just one year half of Dunwall was ether infected and or dead. i was living in the streets and had to survive of what was left. then the news that the royal protector Corvo Attano was sent to other countries for help gave me a little bit of hope and i kept going. then after i was on brink of death, was found by a man. he saved me from starvation and gave me a home, his name was Daud and he was the leader of a assassin group called whalers. the thing is this group was special because they had powers, powers given by the outsider a mysterious man existing outside of time and space the "void". now i was part of the assassin group and trained by Daud and other members. they showed me how to fight with a sword, assassin tactics, strategic planning, stealth and how to use there personal weapons the bowcaster, a arm mounted mini crossbow. mostly i was trained by Billie Lurk Daud's second in command also called his "prodigy" because she was the best of the whalers after Daud. but now the special thing about the assassins there powers. they get there powers from Daud who has the mark of the outsider and is linked with everyone thus gives them the ability to use a bit of Daud's powers. the powers are teleport but it works by thinking of a place and then appearing not by visual teleport and we call it  transversals. and then pull a power that can pull people and small objects in the the air and to a person or away or you can throw them away with great force. and then body enhancing powers were they can withstand more then a normal human.
the whalers have a ranking system and it's shown by what color they wear.

the Novice Assassin in a Gray coat also what we wear since we are just with them for a bit more than half a year. To that I'm just just 11 year old
