Chapter 5

Dominik's P.O.V.

She is not dead yet.

"Falon! Get the extra clothes. We have to stop the bleeding now."

I looked around and saw so many faces just staring at us, no one moving to help. Grrr.

"One of you freaking IDIOTS get the freaking ANTIDOTE!" My snarl echoed around the clearing, my anger making itself known.

"There is no antidote you stupid mutt. Even if there was one, why would we give it to you?"

<insert snarl hear>

"Do not kill him brother, he knows something. Hmm..." she mused. "You must be the brother she said we had... Arn't you?" She asked, not looking up from Serena as we bound her wound.

I looked up to see a man emanating great power. He had dark raven hair and piercing green eyes, the same eyes we had. He was also slightly taller than me, beating my 6'5".

"I believe i am, you must be Dominik and you, Falon. But whom is that between you?" he questioned.

I growled lowly while Falon decided to answer.

"How can you not recognize your own MATE! And i bet you wonder why she ran away."

"Enough, calm down Falon." I ordered. "The more time we waste on him, the less of a chance that Serena is going to make it." At my words she let out a huff.

"There are two ways to save her... That is, if you want to."the Alpha said.

"What kind of question is that? Of course i want to save her! Are you high because you would have to be crazy to think that i want her dead."

"Well... The only way to save her is for an Alpha to bite her or for her mate to mark her. Lucky for you my dear brother, i am both" he stated with a smirk.

"What are you waiting for?! Save her!" How could he even consider hesitating? This was supposably the love of his life and he was practically sending her to her death.

"Ah,ah,ah. For me to save her you must agree to join our pack. I can't let you leave without showing my hospitality. Surely you would like to stay, to keep her alive, of course. Isn't that right my little siblings?"

All of this was said in such a smug tone that i was seriously considering killing him, but then what could he do to help his mother?

"We don't have a choice Dominik. Hurry, she is losing too much blood. Join the pack Dominik, it is the only way."

With this said she looks up from Serena's lifeless face to glare at our 'brother', if you can even call him that.

"I, Falon Glade, agree to join your pack. The Bloodhound Pack will be my family and life. We will forever be bound."

"I, Dominik Glade, agree to join your pack to save my mother. The Bloodhound Pack will be my family and life. We will forever be bound."

With that final word i could feel a trembling in my mind. Just then an onslaught of thoughts entered my mind.

...she's his mate...

...is she? I...

...ledgandary...

...those hideous scars...

...blackhearted beasts...

...no mercy...

I blocked them out as best as i could so that i could focus on Serena.

"Now Drake, or it will be too late."
