since Xiao lost all their friend their scare to like someone and lose them again. Yanfei really like Xiao and before dating they were going slow to make Xiao more comfortable until they really wanted to start and relationship with Yanfei.
Xiao love to watch Yanfei and make sure nobody hurt her (Yanfei know they does that and find it cute.)
When they were at the chasm and Xiao sacrificed them self Yanfei thought she would never see them again and she was too shocked to react at the moment. When he was safe she was super happy and almost admitted her love to Xiao but couldn't. yet.
since Yanfei special dish is "My way" and Xiao LOVE tofu she like to make them and give it to Xiao, at first they found it annoying but now they got used to it and really appreciate it.
Xiao like to watch the star with Yanfei at night.
