the obstacle race had just ended when i finally found a chance to strike, ryuuen is busy planning something involving horikita suzune so he left his royal guard either working or idling.

this is probably the best time to try and win albert yamada over.

i stood up and left hiyori and itadori chatting with one another and walked to the back of our group and there he stood, albert yamada.

he probably has the best physical capabilities out of everyone in our first year...aside from some of the 5 special students.

i approached him as he stood silently once again like always, he isn't much for talking nor playing games since he is an odd ball in this east asian country, even if he is half japanese

hmmm perhaps i should make him feel at home and speak in english, maybe he'll get chatty then...

"Good morning albert!" i said as i tapped his shoulder.

silence was all that came in response, he simply just stayed staring at the girl's obstacle race.

"hmm? ah fancying someone from the girls perhaps?, let me guess... is it ibuki?!" i said with an overly bright smile.

again...he stayed silent, sigh...this isn't going anywhere, guess i have to be straight forward with him.

"work for me, you look quite pathetic being ryuuen's dog" i said with a calm expression as i observed the girl's obstacle race

albert didn't respond this time either but he somewhat gripped his jacket, i guess i angered him.

"your silence doesn't make you look strong, it makes you sound all the more like a muscle head...a dog and that isn't the fate you want is it?" 

"boss is a friend" he finally spoke!, haha..this is going well then.

"A friend wouldn't use you to act as tools for his own benefit, ryuuen will throw you away the moment you're of no use to him!" 

"you don't know boss like i do" he said as he finally faced me, his height making him towering over me in a very intimidating fashion.

"oh i do, i know how much of a cruel sadistic bastard he is, sending his stupid mutts to ruin my friend's book, sending ibuki with a stranger who hurt her!, do you want me to tell you more albert?!" i yelled at his face catching the attention of some of our classmates.

"HEY!! the hell do you want from albert you bastard!??" ishizaki shouted at me as he entered our conversation.

me and albert stared at one another before i calmed down and sighed while putting my hands in my pockets, this talk will be futile with that pest being around.

"i am done here, very unpleasant seeing you again ishizaki" i said as i walked past ishizaki and back to hiyori and itadori.

this was good enough, i did not expect complete loyality right off the bat but we'll see how my words have affected his mind when the time comes for him to choose between my rule and ryuuen's, ryuuen is a cruel bastard but he values his class heavily, the issue is that he lets everything pass by as long as it doesn't affect his plans.

"yo lelouch, what were you and albert talking about? seemed pretty heated..." itadori said as i sat beside him

"it did...are you alright lelouch?" hiyori asked with a worried expression.

"ah i am fine, it was just simple chatter nothing for you guys to worry about" i said with a smile.

we continued watching the girl's obstacle race and suddenly an accident occured, as horikita suzune was taking the lead once again, she kept looking behind her quite often until suddenly she and minori kinoshita crashed into one another, kinoshita gripped her leg in pain whilst horikita went on and got 7th place.
