He watches the time tick by slowly, staring at the grandfather clock across the room. His long limbs drape effortlessly across the armchair. His hair falls over eyes as he stretches out and lets out a small groan. The large fireplace behind him crackled and burned brightly. The fire casts a warm glow around him lighting up his best features. His stern eyes glow a purple hue. The hands on the clock start to quickly spin forward. His fingers play lightly with the hem of his sleeve as the hands finally return to their normal speed.
A light knock spawns from the other side of the door.
"Right on time" The door swings open with a flick of his wrist. A surprised girl is unveiled from behind the doors. She is a petite little thing, her hair is done in a loose bun with curls framing her face. She stands in the middle of the room awkwardly. She stares completely enthralled by him.
"Your staring..." He looks in her direction. His eyes catch her attention, she can't help but stare into the universe that are his pupils. She starts to become entranced by them. She barely realized that he had moved from his chair to in front of her. Her eyes rest on his chest. He wrapped his calloused fingers around her jaw and lifted her chin to meet his eyes again.
"Don't stare too long you'll get lost" He smirked.
"Im so sorry for stari-" Her voice trails off as her eyes become hazy as the sky on a cold rainy day. He grabbed her wrist and sinks his sharp canines into the delicate skin. The metallic taste coats his throat and his head is overcome with hunger. He drags his tongue across his teeth as he brings his head up from her bare wrist. He flicks his wrist once more sending her flying out the doors of the room shutting them behind her.
"She was delicious, but barley filling." He groans in hunger and walks to the fireplace. His eyes stare intently into the billowing flames. He looks out the window out into the cloudy night sky. His skin touched by the slight chill coming from outside. A deep exhale escapes his pink lips. His pale skin shines against the full moonlight. The galaxies in his eyes swirl calmly with each slow blink, his shoulder tenses as he leans against the window's tall frame. He holds his wrist, rubbing his thumb up and down his pulse. At least where his pulse is supposed to be.
