<*CRACK*>

"Oh, No!"

*not the vase!*

"WHAT WAS THAT SOUND! My Beautiful vase! Caitlyn?" Cecelia

*God, now I'll definitely lose this job. And paying for this vase will Take me the rest of my life...*

"I'm going to fix-"

"Oh, Miss Porach, thank you for... keeping an eye on the Vase!" He said

"Will? What are you doing here?" shed asked

"I'm sorry, mother i slipped on the floor while i was escorting miss Porach to collect the pieces while i when to find a broom" he answered backing me up

*He put the blame on himself to protect me. I'll... *

"Actually, I..."

I felt William's hand on my back, a touch telling me, "I got this".

"WILLAM! How could you be so clumsy? Do you know how much that vase meant to me?" she screamed

"I'm deeply sorry mother. I'll pay for it." William said

"You'll be in debt for the rest of your life... I don't want your savings but you're GROUNDED." She said

"Grounded? I'm not eighteen anymore." He said

"You're not much older though and maybe it will teach you not to run around the house like a child." She said

*it's not my place to interfere with their argument. I can't lose this job.*

"I'll clean it up, Mother." He said

"Are you sure?" I asked

"Don't worry about me, Miss Porach." He said

"Come on. Let him take care of that." She said walking away

"And Caitlyn, sorry for the confusion. I feel stupid that I thought it was you.You must forgive me. See you tomorrow" she said

William Collecting the pieces of the vase from the ground.

"Whew. What a mess? Well, don't worry, you've escaped my mother's wrath. You're safe for now. I should clean up this mess. Get rid of the evidence." He said

*I can't believe he did that for me... the least I can do is thank him for the help. If not for him, I would have lost this job for sure. He needs to know that I appreciate that! I should...*

"Oh, you don't have to help me." He said

"I do. It's my mess to clean." I said

"Well, thanks." He said

"Hey..."

"That's okay. Don't worry about it." He said

"How did you get here so fast? I barely realized what happened." I asked

"Well, I knew the floors were slippery so as soon as I heard the crash I knew what was going on. And it took just a second to grab a broom and make a show."" He said

"Your reflexes and creativity are impressive." I said

"At your service. Won't you say anything about my acting skills?" He said

"It was an Oscar-worthy performance, sir. But enough of the compliments." I said

"Ah, pity. Now let's get rid of it" he said walking into the kitchen

"Done. Goodbye, hideous vase." He said

"That was a rally expensive vase" i said

"I was. You'd be in big trouble." He said
