The sun rose comfortably over a small piece of forest, which belonged to a larger property. One of her rays met a figure filled in ceilings on the roof of the property. Long red hair lit up and the tip of her pointed ears looked out slightly.

Sighing, she watched the sun as it became brighter and brighter and now also woke up the other inhabitants of the house. This meant that she only had a few minutes left for herself before she had to be the perfect daughter again. Slowly she got up and climbed down the facade again to get into her room so that no one would get scared.

Shortly afterwards, her door opened and a servant opened the curtains and put the freshly ironed clothes on a table, only to disappear immediately afterwards. For them, that was the sign of getting up and getting dressed. At normal speed, she washed herself and got dressed. "SCARLETT!" a female voice screamed through the entire house and tore her out of her usual morning routine."Come right away Mom!" she screamed back and closed her ears. It was way too loud for her.

She quickly ran down the stairs of the house dressed and then slippered in front of the door to the dining room. Once she left this door behind, she would be the perfect daughter, as always. After a deep breath, she opened the door and paused in amazement. Why did the whole family sit there? She went to her place restlessly. "Good morning," she greeted politely. "Good morning Scarlett. Did you forget that you will go to the academy today, like all your ancestors?" her mother asked snappy. Scarlett flinched. She had actually suppressed that. "No mother, of course not," she lied and invited some food on her plate.

But inside she cursed. How could she please forget that half her wardrobe has been stored in the suitcases in the last few days, which she should take with her. Her painting things had also been among them, which made her very easy, since her only hobby was painting. Her mother got her out of her thoughts. "You will finally become the fae you should be. Strong, powerful, smart," she raved about her daughter, who felt more and more uncomfortable. After a while, she didn't listen. "Louisa, leave our daughter alone!" her father interrupted the swarm of the mother, who now remembered her time at the academy. Louise blinked at her husband angry. „Yes, you're right. I should leave her alone. She has to go right away anyway!" said Louisa and got up. "In 15 minutes you'll be in the carriage, understand?!" she ruled on her daughter and left the now very excited daughter to finish her food and be outside on time. Scarlett grinned. It could only be fun.

After ten minutes, Scarlett sat alone in the carriage and stared at her parents. "You're not coming?" she asked restlessly. "No dear, you have to go the way alone," her father said gently and gave the coachman a sign that he could go. Looking back, Scarlett realized that her mother waved at her. „Don't let our family name visit with dirt! Show the other beings how weak they are unlike us Faes!" With these last words, the carriage drove out of hearing and gave Scarlett a lot of time to think.
