Second Year,
Love Your MagicRhea couldn't wait to go home, mostly because she wanted to freak her brothers out about the sorting hat. Yes. They hadn't received their letters yet, surely they would come this summer, she and Phoebe had been plotting what to tell them. Of course, together they had come up with many ideas.
The sorting hat, shows your most embarrassing memory, then the headmaster chooses.
The sorting hat, speaks your thoughts out loud to the whole school.
Peeves is really the one who sorts you into your house, not an old hat.
Together they had come up with many ways that they could taunt their younger brothers. The only thing they had come to an agreement on was never to taunt them, about the houses they were sorted into. Rhea had learned that Phoebe had a vision of Hadrian, at Hogwarts, his school tie, green and silver.
If their brother did end up in Slytherin. She promised that she would behave if he had a large group of serpent friends then she would be accepting of them. Even if they were the worst of people, as much as she had enjoyed her time with Phoebe, her sister insisted that she needed to catch up on her studying before their final exams.
She had studied a little with Angelina and Alicia, though they ended up talking about what they would be doing when they got home. Angelina had plans to visit her grandparents, while Alicia's father had booked a holiday to Spain. Rhea told them that she hoped they weren't going camping, she had other ideas, spending her days in the sun with Jack.
"Tell us about this Jack, what's so special about this particular Muggle," Alicia asked, smiling brightly at her.
"I don't know, he makes me feel like a girl," they laughed at her, "I'm serious, when I'm with him, I suddenly want to do my hair and wear makeup, if I knew how to do it," Angelina held her hand against her forehead.
"Oh god, she's serious," she rolled her eyes at them.
"Well, seems he has magic himself, he's certainly charmed you," the three girls laughed, their laughter catching Fred's ears.
He couldn't understand Rhea's interest in Jack, she could never be herself around him, not completely herself that is. George urged him not to push Rhea and her friendship with Jack, as it'll only cause bother. He didn't want to cause bother between them they were friends he couldn't let her interest in one boy cause a fight between them.
As the girls stood to leave the Great Hall, he kept his head down, as the strode past them, he heard 'I really like him, and I'm going to tell him,'. His feet carried him out of the hall, closely behind the girls, when he caught up with them he tapped Rhea on the shoulder.
"You okay?" she asked, he was about to speak then stopped himself,
"Could I talk to you alone, Lion Cub,"
"Yeah," she walked away with him, "What did I say about calling me that?"
"Sorry, I forgot your code name,"
"I believe Killer Queen, was the name,"
"I'm not calling you that," she laughed,
"Why not it's one of my favourite songs,"
"Fine, anyway, I heard you talking about Jack,"
"Oh Fred, don't go there," she turned to walk away only he held her wrist keeping her there.
"How could you possibly be yourself around him, I saw how you were with him, you love your magic way too much, and you'll be hiding the biggest and best part of yourself?"
"What do you care, who I like?" she yanked her wrist away from him
"I don't, I just wouldn't want you to change so drastically for someone,"
"If you truly don't care then why does it matter so much, why does it matter if I change, I might grow up and be like my mum, all girly and pretty and you know,"
"Because your my friend, what I saw when I met him, is not the Rhea I know,"
"Well maybe you don't know me," she pivoted on her heel, walking away from him, she completely brushed past George with no more than a quick glance at him.
"What the hell did you say to her?" George questioned Fred, he pushed himself off the wall, leaving his brother to figure that out for himself.

In the last weeks leading up to the end of the school year, George hadn't managed to get out of Fred or Rhea what happened, neither of them spoke to the other. They wouldn't even look at one another, he figured that he'd need help if he were to have some idea as to what happened, he spotted the person he was waiting for, a blonde Ravenclaw making her way to the train station.
"Phoebe,"
"Oh hi, erm,"
"George"
"George, sorry, I still haven't figured out how to tell you apart yet,"
"It's fine, have you by any chance spoken to Rhea, I don't know what happened between her and Fred but they won't talk, I've tried everything, pranks won't bring them together, even messing with the Slytherins isn't working,"
"I'm sorry, Rhea hasn't mentioned anything," he nodded walking away from her, "If I find anything out I could tell you," she smiled at him.
"Thank you, that'd be great,"
The train ride home was the worst one yet, Rhea stayed with her sister and cousin, she wouldn't sit with the girls, in case they were already sitting with Fred. She didn't want it to go this far, she hoped to be talking with him again soon, but her anger also go the better of her, she didn't want to make anything worse with a silly sly comment.
She just hoped that with everything going on between them she could still see them during the summer. It wouldn't be fair on George to completely shut them both out especially when one of them had no idea of what had happened.
