The Good Dean tried to suppress the feelings she got as she watched Lesso and Emma walk out. She trusted them and knew Lesso wasn't interested in anyone but her. At least, she hoped. Lately, Lesso hadn't been as available to Dovey as usual.

Normally they'd walk the gardens every Tuesday and then patrol the school of evil's halls on Wednesday night. On Thursdays, they had lunch in either office and on Fridays, they graded tests in the evenings. Saturday and Sunday, they'd stay over at one another's bedroom and would have Mondays separated to work on their business affairs. These all were what Dovey considered some dates. Now and then, one or the other would set up a nice dinner.

However, Dovey noted that Lesso had almost been absent. She was missing at least two things every week. Dovey never knew what it would be, though. If Lesso was there, she was utterly absent-minded, not paying attention, or was too quiet. The Good dean was worried. This had gone on for three weeks, and this week Lesso hadn't been around all week. It was Wednesday, and she saw the Evil dean talking to Emma. Here lately, Emma was given more attention than Dovey.

Clarissa watched as Lesso's slender hand rested on the beautification teacher's shoulder. Emma realized it, and soon they were off Lesso's cane thumping in rhythm to her heels. Clarissa was fuming at this point. If Lesso was sneaking around, why not just come out and break her heart?! Lesso was direct and to the point. This behavior was so out of character. Hiking her skirts up some, she got up and went to follow, only to be intercepted by an Ever girl. They were asking about a dress for the ever's Winter ball. For the first time, Clarissa couldn't care. How could she, as her girlfriend of a year was cheating on her?! Or so she was assuming. She watched as the redheaded lover disappeared from her sight helplessly.

Little did she know everything was planned right from the start except the making her jealous portion. That was Dovey alone.

Meanwhile, Lesso and Emma had disappeared to Lesso's office. "You're sure the brat will keep Clarissa busy while we do this?" Emma nodded "yes, I've lined up three girls that each take 10 to 15 minutes. Plus, she has to find us." Lesso snorted "that doesn't take long." "Hey! Look here, Red, I'm giving you the time of my days." Lesso rolled her eyes "yes, 'cause teaching beauty is soo important." She smirked before going to her desk and calmed down "ok..so here it is." She pulled out a little black ornate box and set it on the desk.

Emma swallowed and gently picked up the box "when did it come in?" "Last night. I had to make up something to not be with Princess again. I sent her a letter." "A letter? Really? This is breaking her Red. Can't you see that? When are you planning on—" "The Winter Ball. It's this Friday. I have everything planned to the tee." Emma sat down and took a moment to cherish the detail of the ring box. Lesso huffed "you're going to waste all our time staring at the box! I need this perfect Flower Girl." Emma glared. "I told you to stop calling me that!" "Ok, flower girl." Lesso held up her hands defensively, snickering.

She was nervous that her partner would come at any moment. She'd been on pins and needles every day since she and Emma had planned this. Emma cleared her throat and opened the box to reveal a delicate gold ring and wedding band. The band was detailed vines like a garden with small sparkling diamonds as the leaves on each the wedding band and the ring. Then in the middle of the engagement ring was a 2-carat flawless diamond.

Emma gasped and stared at Lesso. "Where...where did you find this?" Lesso looked down. "I uh...I created it. I've been sketching things. We met originally in the garden. We had a first date in the garden, and I asked her to be my girlfriend in the gardens."

Emma looked up "who knew you were so sentimental." Lesso growled, "don't you dare say a word. To anyone of it."

Emma waved it off, staring at the ring. "Think...think she'll like it?" The evil dean asked quietly, looking away. "She'll love it," Emma whispered with sincerity meeting the redhead's blue eyes.
