My time in Atlanta had finally come to an end. It was time to go back to Los Angeles and get my life back. Austin was on his way here to help me move out tonight, and the past few weeks I had been flying back and forth every chance I had an been moving things back little by little.
I packed up my last minute things and cleaned my pantry of all of the food I wasn't going to need anymore. When I had filled up almost an entire trash bag, I took the bag out of the can and carried it down the hall to the garbage shoot.
I pulled open the metal lever and threw the bad down for the last time. My phone went off, I glanced down at it as I walked back down the hall and saw Austin's name.

i'm here. coming up the elevator.yay! see you in a second.
I went back to my room and waited for the door to swing open. I was so excited to finally be coming home, and to go back to LA which would take some getting used to. "Who's excited for you to come home and for us to go to Italy next week?" He asked as he busted through the front door.
I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around him, just standing there and enjoying being able to hold him. "I missed you." I said. "Who's excited for me to never let go of you and follow you around like a lost dog for the next 3 months?" I asked. "Why only 3 months?" He asked. "The new will wear off again and i'll be able to go at least 2 hours without you everyday." I said. I pulled back and looked up at him smiling. He bent down and kissed my lips. He had the softest lips i'd ever felt. "Let's get this packed up and be on the way." He said.
I went back to my bedroom, quickly doing a scan of the room and everywhere else to make sure I hadn't left anything in a random crack or the washer or dryer.
Everything was clear which meant it was time to go. At this point I had only 2 suitcases, that I had been living out of the past two months. It was fall in Georgia which meant it was warmer than New York but it was still chilly in the evenings so I had some thicker clothes that took up more space. But today going back to LA i'd be sweating by the time the plane touched the runway.
Me and Austin had finally found a house in LA also. It was a new build in a gated community in Hollywood Hills that a bunch of people recommended to us. It was a home I never thought in a million years i'd be living in. We had a week to unpack all of our things that we had in it and then we were leaving for Italy for a vacation just the two of us. Sarah and Garrett we're coming out when we got back to see the new place and just do some visiting so we had to furniture shop sometime in between there also.
Right now the only thing on my to do list was going home!
The flight was 8 hours and then 3 hour time change so, technically only 5 hours. But I knew i'd have some serious jet lag when we got there. "Have you been to the house lately?" I asked. "Yeah went last night actually. It looked good, I moved some things in and scheduled the delivery from your things from storage to be there this week. So at least we'll have some furniture from that and then from my apartment." He said. "Yay a couch." I said. "Where are we sleeping tonight?" I asked. "We can stay at my apartment if you want they aren't coming to get the rest of the stuff until tomorrow." He said. "I still wanna see the house tonight and maybe unpack some things." I said. "Of course. That's the first place we'll go." He said. He kissed me once again and we left for the airport

I was so excited to be back. As soon as the wheels hit the runway I ripped open my window and looked out at the city. It had been so long since I lived here I had forgotten how it felt. It was 5pm when we got back, so it still gave us some time to get stuff done before dinner and bed.
