y/n's pov:
I'm dragging my feet home from school very slowly, i just wanna go to sleep for the whole weekend without waking up because school is so tiring
I slam open the front door accidentally, i frown hoping it didn't leave any marks. I quickly check the wall sighing happily when it was clear and dump my bag down and shoes off before running up stairs.
"Y/N!!" My mom shouts just as i'm about to opening my bedroom door, i groan throwing my head back and turning around jogging back down stairs to the kitchen where i knew she was
"Yes" I frown sulking and dropping my shoulder, i was excited to run into my room and flop onto my bed and just shut the world out and sleep.
"You didn't say your hello's when you come back like you normally do, is everything alright?" Mom asks taking a sip of her coffee, i plaster a fake smile on my face nodding my head which causing mom to raise her eyebrow
"I'm tired, i've had a long day at school and want to go to sleep so thank you for checking on me but i'm fine" I rush out with a smile at the end
"Okay, if your sure i was just checking up on you" Mom sighs leaning back against the counter, i nod my head with a smile awkwardly standing waiting for someone to say something
"Can i have a hug" Mom asks with a small smirk, i let out a laugh and walk towards her into her open arms cuddling right into her chest. Mom placed her coffee down and wraps both her arms around me kissing the top of my head and rubbing my back
"Would you be able to nip upstairs to my room and get my charger, Rose is in my room so don't wind each other up" Mom asks and jokes patting my back, i nod my chest turning out of moms chest and going off to get her charger.
I jog up the stairs and take a left turning to moms bedroom and opening her door. I walk in finding Rose sitting on her bed on her stomach watching her iPad
"I need that charger" I announce, Rose turns around giving me a dirty look, ignoring me and turning back around. I sigh walking over moms bed and reach out for the charger
"NO! I'm using it" Rose shouts kicking my arms, i shout in pain and reach for her giving her a nice slap on the back of her head.
"OW" Rose screeches holding the back of her head, i mimic her voice pushing her away and reaching back for the charger but Rose is too fast and pushes me back away
"Rose! Stop it, oh my god!" I shout now getting onto the bed and throwing her to the other side and finally getting my hand down the back of the bed
"Y/n, leave it alone" The silly seven year old now cries and jumps on my back, i fall on the bed flat on my stomach and roll around trying to get Rose off of me.
"Mom said i have to get it for her" I groan taking the charger out of the socket, Rose screams as she realises her iPad isn't on charge anymore, i hear footsteps coming the stairs which clearly means my mom is coming but before i can register anything else, Rose forcefully pushes me off mom's bed.
As i fall, i catch a glance on my mom before rattling my head off the set of drawers behind me. I land on the floor, my eyes closed my mouth open and tears already falling down my face as i cry silently holding the back of my head
"Rose! What on earth are you doing" Mom shouts before quickly rushing over to me, she kneels down and scoops me onto her lap as Rose goes quiet and looks over at me
