Adopted By The Griers

Chapter 1

Adrianna's Pov
I'm Adrianna Johnson I live in a foster home. I'm not very liked here, but i do have one best friend her name it Emma. I'm still a very depressed person.i cut, and I get bullied. Alot. Today I over heard some girls saying that a couple were here to adopt a child. I know that I will for sure not get picked to go because I'm shy, depressed, and I'm not very good with new people.

Elizabeth pov.
honey I'm really excited where finally gonna have a daughter!

Chad pov.
I know me too! I love the boys to death but I feel like we need a girl.
Sarah (foster home owner) pov.
A nicely dressed couple walk through the front door. They walk and look at the kids pictures that are framed on the walls. Then the lady made her way to me and took a seat at my desk and said "hello me and my husband are looking to adopt a girl preferably 13 or older."
I gave her a welcoming smile and spoke "I'll see what I can do."
Elizabeth pov.
As where waiting for the girls me and Chad are silent. I whispered in his ear "I'm really nervous now tha-." I get cut off by seeing all of the girls walking in a single file line. I look around and there's on girl that sticks out to me and I ask Sarah to talk to that girl alone and she replied " Oh adri? I don't think you will like her she is shy and weird..."
"I still want to meet her because she seems like a sweet girl." i argue. Sarah yanks Adrianna by the arm and give me a threatening glare and whispers something into Adrianna's ear. After she whispered something in her ear she looked very sad and scared. Sarah and the other girls left the room so we could talk in private.
Adrianna's pov
I'm very nervous standing her while Ms. Sarah talked to the couple. I notice that the wife kept looking my way like she had a interest in me but yet she looks sad. Suddenly I felt a tug on my arm and it was Ms. Sarah. As she tugged me closer to the couple she whispered in my ear "Just remember... just because they want to talk to you doesn't mean there going to adopt you. Your a worthless little brat that will never be adopted!"
I then got all teared up and help all my tears in.
Elizabeth Pov.
I didn't know what to talk about with Adrianna so i started with basic questions so i broke the silence and said "So what do you like to do? Do you have any talents?" She looked up from he arms and she responded almost with a whisper and said "i love to dance, but i don't know if I'm any good."
I look into her light brown eyes and said that's awesome and we talked more about ourselves and she seemed to be very comfortable with me. Before we got to finish our conversation Sarah yelled for her to go to her room.
Adrianna's pov.
Sarah was right they are never going to want me! I sobbed in my pillow for about 2 minutes and then I grabbed a shoe box that was under my small bed and looked at the picture of my mom and hugged it and cried.
          Elizabeth pov.
I was talking to Chad and we decided we were going to adopt her it must be awful for her to live here it drives me insane when I see her get bullied by the owner and other foster children. So we called Sarah over to us and told her we decided we where going to adopt Adrianna.

Elizabeth's POV
I saw Adri crying and I went to talk to her
" I sat with Adrinna on her bed and tried to get her to talk.

Adrianna's POV

When Elizabeth was asking me why I was crying I gave a blank stare and said I always screw things up and Sarah was saying that you wouldn't want me and I wish my mom was still alive so I wouldn't have to go through this anymore.

Elizabeth's POV

I can't believe she would say that to a innocent 13 year old girl! I'm definitely going to adopt her. She doesn't deserve this. I ran to the office and signed papers to adopt her.

Adrianna's POV

Elizabeth left the room and soon came back and said "Pack whatever you need I'm getting you out of here."
I smiled and replied "Really?"
She said "Yes we need to get you out of here you don't deserve being treated like this."
I said"What about Emma?"
and she said "Who's Emma?"
"She's my best friend." I replied.
"We can adopt her to if you want." Elizabeth said with a smile.
"Yes!" I shouted and hugged her. "Can I tell her the news?"
