Chapter Fourteen.

Hermione:
I don't know how I'm suppose to feel right now. When Blaise told me of what he walked in on. I felt sad and then angry but mostly hurt. It's not like there's anything going on between us. I need someone I can go speak to. So Ron and Harry are not even an option. They would straight away try to kill him. If they was to hear that I was close to kissing the Slytherin prince.

Maybe this whole time, he's been planning on playing me like some fool. I wouldn't be surprise if this whole wanting to be friends was just some practical joke. I understand that we're not an item but he still didn't think about my feelings in this.

It doesn't matter if I was to like him or not. He still made me feel like an idiot. Acting all sweet with me to stab me in the back and go have sex with some girl a few hours later. I need to find Ginny, she's always good when it comes to boy advice.

"So you're telling me that you, nearly kissed Malfoy?" She asked for like the fourth time now.

"How many times do I need to explain, we was just sat reading next to the black lake. The next thing I knew, his lips were inches away from mine." I repeat my self once again.

"It's just hard to believe I guess, so you're confused about the whole situation? It sounds like he might like you." She says.

"I doubt it. Most likely some stupid prank of his, he is planning on. One where he needs to earn my trust." I tell her.

"He looks at you a lot when your not looking, it's the same way I looked at Harry when I first liked him. I still do look at him like that though." Said Ginny.

"I just can't help but think if I'm to let him in. He's going to walk all over me, and I'll be left a bunch of broken pieces on the floor." I tell her.

"Well sometimes you've got to take the risk." She says.

"If he likes me like you say he does, why did he have sex with some other girl?" I asked.

"Maybe he was confused and he's trying to convince him self that he doesn't like you. You should speak to your brother when it comes to Malfoy feelings. I'm sure he'll know more then me." She says.

"I know but what if he was to tell Malfoy." I ask her. Yes I only call him by his first name when speaking to him, but when speak about him, I refer to him as Malfoy.

"If he's really cares for you, he'll know how to keep a secret." She tells me.

"Thank you, I think I'm going to look for my brother now." I say.

I feel like I've looked every where for Blaise. He wasn't even in the Slytherin common room. I decide to take a walk up to the owlery. I hear a giggle and then another laugh after. I know that giggle anywhere, it's Luna but the other one I'm not sure. I know it but I just can't put a name to it.

"Thank you for talking to me." I heard Luna say.

"It's okay. You're really not as bad as people make you out to be." I hear the other voice say.

"Thank you again and same with you. I still don't know what to do with this situation of mine. " says Luna.

"Just do what I told you to do." Says the other voice.

"I can try. I best get going soon." Says Luna.

With that I leave before they can catch me standing a few steps away from them, I wonder what situation Luna is in. Whatever it is, I hope she figures it out. I guess I'll just have to find Blaise later, seeing as I've now got Qudditch practice.

"I'm glad to see you all made it on time." Says Harry.

I decide to go stand next to Ron and Ginny as Harry goes on about different tactics he's been planning out. I like Qudditch, it's strange to think I use to hate it. When ever I think about flying now, I'm filled with good memories I've had bonding with Blaise.

Halloween is not long away and then Christmas. We both agreed that we are going home for the Christmas holidays. I told my friends that they are invited to come for a day. Ron turned down the offer straight away but the other agreed to think about it. I guess it's the most I could ask for of my friends. They've been doing their best to accept Blaise, Ron is still being a bit stubborn.

"That's it for today." Says Harry.

I decide to have a quick shower before getting dressed. I leave the changing room to see Harry and Ron both waiting for me.

"You okay Mione?" Asks Harry.

"Yes I'm fine, why?" I ask back.

"You just seemed distracted during practice today." Says Harry, Ron just nods his head in agreement.

"Just got so much studying to think about." I tell them. It's not the truth but it's not really a lie either.

"Try not overwork yourself Mione." Says Ron.

"I know but I want to do my best." I tell them."

"We know you do." Says Harry.

"I need to go, I need to speak to Blaise about something. I'll see you both later." I shout to them as I start fast waking toward a tall dark haired figure.

"Blaise stop." I yell to the figure, he turns to smile at me.

"Hey sis, you okay." He asks me.

"I'm fine just got stuff on my mind that all. How are you?" I tell him.

"Same as I normally am, I have stuff on my mind as well." He says.

"Like what?" I ask.

"I think I'm starting to like someone. It's odd because I spoke to her properly for the first time. I spoke to her before but it was just small talk that's all." He says.

"Who is this girl?" I ask.

"Luna." He replies. I was not expecting that but I guess that answers my question as to who she was speaking to early today I guess.

"Did you go to owlery early today?" I ask him.

"Nope why?" Asks Blaise.

"I just though I saw you go up there early today, must have been someone else." I lie to him. So if it wasn't him then who?

"Well what's on your mind?" He asks me.

"I need to speak to you about Malfoy." I say.
