A girl walks down the halls of a large scientific facility based near the large anomaly. She has blonde hair, grey eyes, and sickly pale skin. She is a young, naive girl that is about 14 years old, and has never been outside of this facility. She looks completely normal from the outside, yes, but there is something more to her. Whenever injured, she heals twice as fast as any normal human. She also has another natural feature: mandibles. They are folded up in the back of her mouth near her uvula, and they help her chop up food as it comes in to prevent choking. These mandibles are why she's getting escorted to the medical ward today; Dr. Temnova wishes to examine and study them. She was told this by the men walking her to the exam room. She is walked into a large white room with vents and shower faucets. She thinks it's the decontamination room, where they spray you with antibacterial spray and nothing more, but she was wrong. A clear gas was coming from the faucets, and this gas made her rather drowsy. She was fooled. She should've listened to Dmitry's warnings about Temnova being much more than meets the eye, but she brushed it off as paranoia. She falls asleep against her will. After the anesthetic gets vented out, a team of scientists carry this girl to the examination room, where Temnova orders them to strap her down and to tape her mouth shut. However, the guards were a bit hesitant. This girl did nothing wrong. "I don't want to hear it," barked Temnova. "Do you not care for science?" "But what does science have to do with chopping up this poor girl?" One man inquired. Temnova ignored his comment, saying "You don't understand the lengths we must go. Unless you want to take her place." The scientist kept quiet after that. He and the team strap the girl down securely, and tape her mouth shut. Not long after, the girl wakes up and starts struggling in panic. Temnova holds up a syringe with a wicked smile on her face. "Hold still - or else you'll be feeling it even more." She laughs a but as she injects this drug into the girl's arm. Her muffled screams are getting a bit louder, and this drug forces her body to relax, but she's still fully conscious. She's still trying to scream for help, but to no avail. Then, one of the scientists grab a large saw and starts cutting off her arm. Her pupils dilate, her muffled screams grow more high pitched, and her blood spills all over the table and splashes onto the floor. She feels her flesh ripping and tearing as it happens to her legs and other arm as well. Push pull, push pull, cut saw, cut saw, one two, one two! Then, she feels something sharp poke her in her very tender stumps. Cadavers' limbs, each mismatched in size and color, and they're being sewn onto her body in place of her real arms and legs! The thread course, the needle sharp, and the limbs hardly fit! She'll be lucky to survive. She'll be even luckier if this mad doctor woman will even allow her to tell the tale if she survives! Stitch sew cut tie, stitch sew cut tie, one two three four, one two three four, heart beats, pupils dilate, mad woman laughs, good men cry, monsters hiding within view! The girl screams. Temnova laughs. The scientist who objected weeps. The girl has learned the duality of mankind. A lack of morality can be dangerous if given power, and nothing anyone does can stop it. The girl starts crying. Not from the pain and misery alone, but also from betrayal and the lesson learnt. The procedure ends, the mad woman bids the men a good day, and leaves. The scientist who had tried to tell that monster not to do this stays with this miserable girl while the other men leave. As the girl exhales her final breath, her heart beats for the last time, and she groans for the very last time, he starts crying too. He has been defeated as well, for he never wanted any of this to happen in the first place. The damn woman couldn't be stopped. He had lost all hope.
