Reporters swarmed the group as they walked onto the train, the woman ecstatic while Tommy and Tubbo stared emotionless ahead, still in a state of shock. Tommy ignored the journalists as they continued to the train.
"Are you brothers?" one asked, shoving a microphone in Tubbo's face.
"Why did you volunteer?"
"What's your name?"
"Where are you parents?"
"What did your families think?"
"Who is Carina to you?"
"Do you really consider yourself a woman?"
"Well, for around the fifteen seconds I had to volunteer, I was a woman." Tommy replied. "Now shut up, I'm trying to reconsider my life choices."
"I can see the headlines now! Tribute reconsiders life choices! Wait until the readers of the Panem News see this!" the reporter screamed in joy. Tommy rolled his eyes.
"Tommy, stay focused. We can get to the train. We can do this. I believe in us." Tubbo grasped his friend's hand. Together they fought through the crowd, and, panting for breath, struggled onto the train to the Capitol, landing on the floor of the carriage. "Hey, we actually did it! I didn't think we could do that at all." Tubbo exclaimed.
Tommy sighed and picked himself up off the floor as the woman watched them in disgust. "I'm Euphoria, by the way. You should probably clean yourself up before we reach the Capitol- it will give you a better first impression on everyone." she wrinkled her nose. "The bathroom is down the hall," she added brightly, shaking slightly and regained her composure as she sat down on an armchair and the train started to move.

"We're here!" Euphoria exclaimed excitedly as the train entered a station. "Here we go." she hopped off the train and onto the platform, trotting off in her heels and let them into a limousine which waited for them. Tubbo gaped. They had never had anything like this in District 12.
The hotel was huge. It was as tall as all the skyscrapers which surrounded it. The Capitol was grand. It was Heaven compared to the Districts. "You're in for a treat! Each District has their own floor, and since you're from 12, you get the penthouse!" Euphoria told them excitedly as she lead them inside.
A boy on a bike tossed a newspaper at their heads. Euphoria screamed. Tommy caught it and looked down at the front page.

He sighed, ripped out the page and crumpled it up. "K, let's go." he said, and together they made their way into the hotel.
