Chapter 14: Ultear & Delta ~🍋~

After a few minutes of staring at the wasteland created by Delta's final attack, everyone had returned to the ballroom. They all had a mix of emotions ranging from relief to grief. The battle with Hollow and Regnar was finished but at the cost of Delta's own life. Most people comforted Olivia, Beidou, Ningguang and Bisca, who each had a close bond with the Dragon-Slayer. However, no one noticed that Ultear had secretly left out and headed back to the wasteland.

Ultear: I know that you're still alive. And I'm going to bring you back home. You're the one person in this world who I love...

Ultear then slammed her hands on the ground, generating a huge amount of magic as a magic circle that was similar to Delta's appeared on the ground.

Ultear: Return to the realm of the living Delta Akane....Soul Imitation!!!

The huge flood of magic converted into a sphere, which then started to absorb magic from the surrounding area as well as some from Ultear's body. The sphere then slowly began to morph into a humanoid figure before Ultear took out a vial that contained some of Delta's blood before throwing it at the humanoid. The figure then began to grow flesh and bones before the light faded away and Delta's naked body became visible. He slowly landed on the ground and Ultear ran to check for a pulse. When she didn't feel one, she began to administer CPR on him. As she was about to give up, his heart had started beating and his chest was moving up and down. Suddenly, his eyes shot open and he sat up quickly, taking deep breaths before feeling Ultear hugging him tightly while crying.

Delta: U-Ultear? Did I fail?

Ultear: N-No...you saved us all.

Delta: Then how—

Ultear: I used Soul Imitation to revive you.

Delta: You gave up a year of your life to bring me back? Thank you.

Ultear: Of course *Looks down and starts blushing* W-We should go get you some new clothes and boots...

Delta: *Realizes* Y-Yeah.

The two head back into the city and buys new clothes for the Dragon-Slayer. Luckily, they somehow managed to find a replica pair of his Top & Boots in the store.

Delta: How do I look?

Ultear: Like the man I fell in love with.

Delta: *Blushing* Uhhhh....

Ultear: I said that out loud didn't I?

Delta: Yeah...I mean if you want, we can talk to Olivia about it?

Ultear: S-Sure....and if it's not too much trouble, I wish to do something else.

Delta: What's up?

Ultear: I-I want to join Fairy Tail! I know I've done a lot of terrible things in my life but...I want to atone for them.
