Rosalie sat on her bed as she read her magazine that she had brought herself last week. She thread her fingers through kaz's hair as he slept peacefully for the first time since Alice left.

She had brought back a man who fought along side Carlisle, Garrett he was a character to say the least, rose had hop that he and kaz could get along so he could help the boy out a little. The house was slowly gaining more vampires and kaz was finding it hard to not kill anyone for siting in his chair.

"I know your awake." She glances at him to see him open the chest draw and pull out a pack of cigarettes to which she narrows her eyes at. "Not in here." He huff's before placing them down and crossing his arms over his chest leaning against the headboard next to her.

"I'm bored." Kaz mutters looking around the room to see if he could brake anything.

Before Rosalie could talk again Emmet sped into the room with a frown on his face. "There are two new vampire's here and there a bit mean." His face lit up as he smiled. "But we found out Bella's a shield."

Kaz didn't look that shocked, Edward already couldn't read her thoughts so of course she was something defensive. Rosalie simply hums and nods her head.

"They want us downstairs don't they?" Rosalie smiles at her husband who nods his head before picking up kaz spinning him around to try cheer him up.

The three walk downstairs once they where ready, when they entered the room all eyes where on them, it was certainly an ego boost for the three of them.

Carlisle smiles at the tree of them as he nods towards eleazer to speak now that everything was here as the three take a seat on the couch.

"When aro wants someone from a coven it's never long before evidence turns up proving that coven committed some crime." Eleazer speaks up as everyone was crowded in the living room.

"So he's done this before?" Bella questions looking up at him.

"It happens so rarely, I never realized it was a pattern." Eleazer continues nodding at Bella question.

"Apparently he always pardons one person whose thoughts he claims are repentant." Carlisle chims in from his seat.

"This person always has an ability. And they're always given a place with the guard." Eleazer says finishing what Carlisle said.

"I would join to for one of those cloaks, they look warm." Kaz mutters as Emmet let's out a hum in agreement.

"This is all about Alice. He has no one like her." Edward says glancing at kaz, to see him frown. "He also has no one like you, the only one of your kind."

"Which is why she left." Bella adds to her husband's thought's.

"Alice isn't selfish." Kaz speaks up glaring at the two of them. "She wouldn't leave her family for her own benefit."

There was a beat of silence in the room as people looked towards kaz's clenched fist, before Emmet decided to interrupt. "Why does he need witnesses?"

"To spread the word that justice has been served." A man called Alister but not Alister moody from harry potter says stepping out his dark corner. "After he slaughterers and entire coven."

Amun and his wife two people Carlisle had gone to fetch stepped forward walking over to Benji. "Benjamin, Tia, we're leaving."

"And where will you go?" Edward looked towards the both of them. "What make you think they'll be satisfied with Alice or kaz? What's to stop them from going after Benjamin next? Or zafrina or Kate or anyone else with a gift? Anyone they want. Their goal isn't punishment it's power. It's acquisition. Carlisle might not ask you to fight but I will. For the sake of my family. But also for yours. And for the way you want to live."

Kaz had to admit that speech gave him a little goosebump.

Everyone in the room hung onto the words that Edward poured out, Jasper looked impressed at his brothers speech. It was silent before Jacob stood up. "The packs will fight. We've never been afraid of vampires."

"We will fight." Tanya and the Denali coven stood up.

Garrett stepped forward as soon as Kate stood up. "This won't be the first time I fought a kings rule."

"We'll join you." Benjamin stepped forward away for his coven leader.

"No." Amun said.

"I will do the right thing, amun. You may do as you please." Benjamin looked towards him as he spoke.

"We will stand with you." The two form the Amazon said as they stepped forward.

"So will we." The Irish.

One by one everyone stood up as kaz stayed seated on his spot looking around the room with a blank face.

"I won't ask you to fight." Edward looked towards kaz. "Alice isn't here, so I understand you may not want to fight beside us. But I know with you on are side we could win he'll be afraid of you because he doesn't know how to stop you."

He could feel eyes in him as he blew out a breath slapping a hand on his face. "Oh I'll fight. Believe me I've got some pent up anger, but I'm not fucking standing up."

There where chuckle's around the room as everyone looked towards the boy who sat more into the couch as Edward sent him a grateful look.

Rosalie went to open her mouth although she was cut of from a voice floating in from the door way.

"I always knew you where a lazy arse." His head snapped up to the door way to see Bree tanner standing there she obviously hadn't aged but she looked more grown up from the past few months and her golden eyes shinned bright in the hallway.

"Bloody hell, who let the midget in." Kaz smiled at her his first real smile since Alice had left, as the young girl grinned before zooming over to yank him up for a hug.

"Well, when someone comes knocking on my door saying you need help, and who am I to resist to hold something over you." Bree smirks at him that smirk that she had picked up form him from there time together.

"Who? Came to get you?" Carlisle questions sending the young girl a smile as she clung to kaz.

"Alice."
