Chapter 3

Rukia Pov

I noticed Renji curled up in bed. He had his arms wrapped around his knees, obviously spooked by something. I went and sat next to him, "Whats wrong Renji? You don't get frightened easily," wrapping my arm around his shoulders.

"Ruk-kia s-something is c-coming for K-Kisara. I-I don't know what ju-ust that it isn't good." Renji stammered. I pulled his head down to my lap. Taking out his band, I stroked his hair. His red hair wrapping around my fingers as I pulled them through between them. Leaning down, I kissed his forehead.

"Renji, it was probably an illusion. It has been forever since we've been outside." I murmered, trying to sooth him. Reni turned his head toward me; putting a hand up to cup my face, he kissed me.

"Rukia i'm worried. What if it wasn't an illusion and something really is gonna happen?"

"We'll watch her if nothing happens in five years then everything will be fine." I smiled standing up. "I'll go get dinner ready. What do you want?"

"Ramen will do" Renji pulled the blanket tighter around him.

I pulled the pot off the stove. Ever since Ichigo came to The Soul Society has been getting Earth appliances to make life easier. I still remembered the time when I asked him how to work a juice basket. I laughed at the memory, back then I felt like a fool now its just a pleasant memory. I wonder how him and Coral are doing, they probably have a child or two. Setting the pot by the sink, I started draining the water.

It was dark outside as I ran down the street. Running faster as the sirens sounded closer. 'Dammit!' I thought. 'That bastard should be here where is his damn car?' I knew I shouldn't of relied on him. He may be my boyfriend and I really do love him but, he needs to get his agenda together. He always shows up late to dates and every thing else. Ugh, this is the one time I actually care that he is on time.

A car screeched up beside me the passenger seat door thrown out. Speak of the devil there he is. Speeding up I jumped into the car slamming the car door behind me.

"What took you so wait-WHAT THE HELL YOUR DRUNK." I moved over sitting on him to drive. In normal situations I didn't care but this was a matter of getting thrown in jail.

"BaeffdI'msowrryy" he rested his head on my shoulders and wrapped his arms around my stomach. A small smile reached my lips. Matt is loyal when he's in a relationship he's devoted to that one person. He can get hella drunk but will still only have eyes for his special someone. At the moment its me.

I saw the police car coming closer and I slammed my foot on the gas pedal, causing Matt's hold on me to tighten."Carrfulllimittbarf." I laughed, turning my attention to the road. I swerved around a corner coming up on a traffic jam.

"Shit. Matt get ready to run were leaving the car in a minute." Pulling over I jumped out of the car Matt stumbling after me.

We ran for what felt like hours but it was actually only twenty-five minutes. Pulling out the key to our shared house I unlocked the door. I shut the door before Matt was fully inside and locked it. Matt walked up the stairs awkwardly.'he's really drunk isn't he. At least I won't have much trouble getting him to bed.' I caught up with him, sliding a hand in his. He looked at me his drunken eyes filled with love.

"Youwannadoit" He mumbled. It took me a few minutes to realize what he was getting at.

"Hell no. I don't want to be up another hour its already midnight and I have an exam tomorrow." I smiled at him punching him in the ribs. We reached our room and within seconds of hitting the bed, not bothering to change, fell asleep.

A/N: longest ch yet hope to keep it this long or longer with upcoming chapters. The girl that was the main character in the last halfish will be the main for the next 10 chapters or so. Reni, Rukia, and Kisara will apear again but at the moment you need to learn something.

Half of this was edited half wasn't. I won't post again till october at the earliest.
