Chapter 1

Hi, my name is Shelby. I am, or what I think I am,smart and graceful. Some people hate me because of my attitude , but I give money to charities and the poor. I think I have competition for being popular. Some people walk down the halls and just stare at me. For what reason though? I have a blackish,brownish hair color, and of course, I'm Native American. I have everything I could ever want, but there is one thing I can never get. A Boyfriend! People always say," you don't need a boy to make you happy!" They might say that but I always think that you do. I would always flirt with boys and I would laugh at everything they would say. One time there was a guy named Tim and he was very handsome! I would try to talk to him, but all he did was ignore me! I didn't like this one bit. So I was on the bus texting all my friends when some unknown person calls me. I picked up the phone and it sounded like a Chinese lady, but it was a prank call and I knew by the way she talked! I hung up my iPhone and put it in my Vera Bradley wristlet. I then walk in to the gym quit mad when all of a sudden there was this beautiful guy sitting in my spot. I had to do something like walk up and talk to him!
