LOVE WAS SOMETHING STUPID.
That was something that Samantha Parker realized at a very early age, and she would say it out loud for everyone to hear.
When asked why she believed that about love, she never had an answer.
Maybe it was because love gave her a hard and traumatic life, if only her mother never fell in love with a married man and had an affair with said man, she would've been born to another family, another one who did wanted and loved her, a family that didn't have to give her up for adoption like her mother did. For all Samantha knew, love is what gave her such a miserable life.
Samantha believed that love was stupid for years. Until a man named Elijah Mikaelson showed her that maybe just maybe love wasn't something stupid.
