Maariyaah's P.O.V:
It came to the time where the winner of the first of the two nominations the boys received was going to be read out. You could see everyone nominated-especially Union J- were so nervous. This was also my first time at the Brits as a manager of a nominated group so my adrenaline was on a high too. Tom Daley was presenting the 'Best British Group Award.' He read out the nominees. Union J was up against some pretty big names, including Little Mix who was sitting just in front of us. Finally the long wait came before Tom read out 'And this year's Best British Group award goes to.....' Why do they have to leave such a gap, JUST TELL US!.............................. "UNION J!"
Meg's P.O.V:
AHHHHHH UNION J HAD WON A BRIT! The whole table jumped up and gave each other a huge hug. Jaymi began to cry as him and Olly celebrated. George came to give me a hug after hugging Jess. "I'm proud of you bro" I whispered to him as he smiled. Josh leapt up and gave JJ and Tasha a group hug, but Kimberley didn't join in which I found quite strange. She stood up and clapped, but didn't seem happy or proud, of her own boyfriend. Josh glanced at her and his smile dropped, but then he looked directly back to the boys and couldn't help but join in with the joy.
Martha's P.O.V:
Awwwh Union J won the award. Although Little Mix missed out on it they politely clapped towards the boys and they let the news sink in. I'm also a huge Union J fan so I was overjoyed they had won, but didn't think it was the right time or place to scream and jump towards them. It was really sweet to see the boys and their close ones hug and congratulate each other. After they had done their jumping they grabbed each other by the shoulders and made their way to the stage. Mmm Josh looked so gorgeous up there with all the lights on him and his beautiful smile on his face.
Georgia's P.O.V:
Jaymi took the award off Tom and all the boys gathered around it to have a good look. Josh was the first to thank everyone:
"Im so so so so grateful to everyone that voted! We love you guys, thank you to these 3 boys standing beside me. Thank you to our beautiful jcats who have been on this journey from the beginning."
Then the microphone was handed to George who tried to talk but only managed to produce a little giggle before he hid his face on Josh's shoulder. Jaymi took over:
"Wow George, great speech there" He joked. "So ye, as Josh said, thank you, also thank you to our amazing manager Maariyaah. I want to thank my wonderful partner Olly for being there and supporting me. Everyone of you out there that help and support us are amazing! Lets hope this award is the first of many!"
JJ now had hold of the Brit. He held it in the air and the boys had one last group hug before exiting the stage.
