  SEIYUU ACADEMY (hangul: 세이유 아카데미, kanji: 声優 アカデミー) is a South Korean-Japanese co-ed survival show broadcasted on Mnet and Mnet Japan, sponsored by SM Entertainment. The show aims to further enhance singing, dancing and acting skills of recently debuted acts in the South Korean entertainment industry, as well as helping them enter the Japanese market as all-rounded performers.

... But what exactly is Seiyuu Academy?

Although initially met with skepticism and huge criticism, knowing Mnet's background with survival shows, Seiyuu Academy soon became something more than just a shitshow aimed at a very specific audience.

For some, it became a chance to know more about their favorites under a new light...

While for others, it turned into what led many artists to acquire their well-deserved freedom.

So what is Seiyuu Academy to you?

We're finally back! I hated the original introduction so much, so while I was at it editing the promotional poster to put something a bit more presentable on the Wiki, I thought to myself: 'What if I rewrote it properly?' and here we are!

If this intro sucks I do Not Fucking Care.

Disclaimer: I'm editing this a year after its very first writing but, as I wish to keep as much as possible from the original work, this means the quality of the writing might not be... Exactly the best. Still, we try to fix what we can without changing too much!

I will also try to write a conclusion to the show despite knowing quite well who ended up in the final group... Just because I want to give the show as a whole some closure, you know! I feel like the appliers who stayed until the end deserve it in particular.
