There could have been many different ways for the world to end, but no one expected the world to end by the dead rising. I know it hard to believe until you see it with you own eyes, right? It is actually happening.

It's just the beginning of the outbreak and me and my sister already lost everything. Our dad died before the outbreak, but our mother was bitten. I would have died if it wasn't for a curly hair dude.

Blood splattered all over my face when she was shot in the back of the head, and I just stood there in shocked.

"Come with me."

I wasn't about to mine or my sister live in danger by going with some random guy that just happened to save my life.

Her blood splattered all over my face, as she was shot in the head, my whole body stood there shocked.

"Kyle, it is not safe to be out here," Madison said.

I didn't move. I just stood there and looked at my mother's lifeless body. I have learned that any noise at all would bring more toward us.

"Kyle, we got to go."

"O-okay."

I grabbed a hold of Madison's hand holding her close to me. I took one final look at the body and then started to follow the stranger through the woods. You could hear them snarling and snapping their teeth.

"Hey!" He chucked me a gun and I was too scared to use it, but Madison screamed knocked me out of it.

"Madison!"

I pushed her out of the way and fired a shot, hitting the walker in the stomach.

"Aim for the head"

I took another shot striking it in the head.

"Our camp is just up ahead, we have to leave tomorrow."

I didn't say anything because I was too busy trying to keep us safe.

"Is everything okay?" Some dude ran up to us and I pushed my sister behind me. He looks over and me and shyly smile.

"Who are they?" He asked, his eyes never leaving mine.

"I found them in the woods with no protection. He would have died if I wouldn't have come along."

"Why were they alone in the woods at night?"

"We were with our mom, b-but sh-"

"They don't need to know," I mumbled loudly.

"I am Johnnie and this Bryan. You guys are welcome to stay here with us, but we have to leave in the morning."

"I know, those gun shots are going to bring more this way," Madison said.

"Come, we have food."

Madison's hand tighten around mine and I looked at her and nodded. She let go of my hand and slowly made her way over with me following behind her. 

I was not in the mood to eat I was still covered in my mom's blood. I needed to get the blood off of me.

"Do you have a bathroom?" I asked.

"Follow me."

I followed him to the bathroom which wasn't that far from the camp. I nodded and send him on his way back to the others. I closed the door and looked at myself in the mirror. I looked horrible. I turned the water on and cleaning the blood off my face.

They warned us before the broadcast went off they have warned us not to allow the infected blood get on or in any cuts. Later that day they have also warned us that everyone was infected.

I was making my way back to the back to the ground when I heard a stick snap behind me. I turned around and got knocked to the ground by one of those things. I screamed and tried to knock the thing off.

"Help!!" I screamed.
