Chapter 22: Miren

Tonight was the night! I had spent the past few days asking every question I could think of about shifters and the supernatural world in general and after a lot of thought decided to accept the guys offer of living with them. I knew that for most people I was moving to fast but by boyfriends are freaking werewolves so screw normal. I had also had a long talk about me working. After they told me their little secret they had told me that I didn't have to do anything at all if I wanted and that them asking me to cook was a way to make the offer more normal but it did t feel right for our relationship to be so one sided so we agreed that I would help out with things like cooking and cleaning. I had also decided to go into the clinic today and hand in my resignation in person. I had used this in part as an excuse to get some alone time in town. There was a fancy little boutique that I had been able to order a few sets of very sexy, very revealing lingerie sets through their website. I had chosen four sets, one to match each guys markings plus one extra that match Rowan's eyes perfectly. I knew it was silly but I wanted to make each of them feel special. The hard part was getting into town by myself so they wouldn't know that I had gotten anything.
It was evening by time I was done at the clinic. My watch read 6:40 which gave me 20 minutes to walk to the end of Main Street to collect my packages. I had just headed that way when a strange chill ran down my spine. Something was wrong. I didn't know what but I knew it was bad. Really bad. My instincts went haywire and before I knew what I was doing I had my phone out and calling Ash. It didn't even ring twice before he answered.
"Everything okay, beautiful?" He asked, like he could read my mind.
"Somethings wrong" I said quietly, trying to walk faster to the closest open store which at this time of night was the boutique.
As soon as the words had left my mouth I heard a growl from the other side of my phone.
"What's happened?" Ash asks me in a deathly quiet voice.
"Nothing yet but something is wrong" I speak quickly "I feel like I'm being watched but there's no one there and I swear I thought someon...."
All the sudden my world goes black. I feel like I'm falling and then nothing.
