This is a novel that is not what it seems, at least not at first.

For a couple of years an older widow is living alone in the summer house.

One morning she goes to a hiking tour.

While outside and overwhelmed by nature, she remembers her late husband.

Suppresed memories of mutual moments and marital squables surface.

With her own thoughts and musings she gathers strength to continue on with her life.

But unusual things are starting to happen and this convinces her that her world is not as safe as she once believed.

And maybe, just maybe, her husband is somehow still alive and watching over her.
