OVER BLACK.
AIDEN (IM)
On my call.
FADE IN.
INT. PIT - NIGHT
AIDEN stands by the gate, the large group of tall, spined, eight legged OPILIOIDS behind him.
AIDEN
HEY!
A group of guards swarm at the gate, their weapons at the ready.
AIDEN
Now!
The bolt that locks the gate bursts into flames and bursts open.
Aiden screams as he charges, kicking into a guard.
The Opilioids charge behind him, sounding like a stampede.
Aiden tackles a soldier to the ground, knocking him out and taking his gun.
The soldiers begin opening fire, but their weapons are no use against the opilioid's armor.
Bullets ricochet and fly through the air as the chaos begins in this open area by the gate entrance.
Aiden stands to his feet and begins firing his new assault rifle.
AIDEN
We need to move towards the compound! We gotta take out as many of these guys as possible!
The tallest Opilioid, LEADER, makes eye contact with Aiden.
LEADER
We must run!
AIDEN
They will kill all of us first. We need to take them all out.
Aiden spots the RED GUARD and shoots his leg.
He falls to the ground and assesses his injury before hobbling up and running away from the battle.
Aiden pursues, leaving the battle to get bloodier and intense.
INT. HALLWAY - CONT.
The RED GUARD pushes through the door, slamming it shut behind him.
He's in a small hallway, another door behind him.
He begins limping toward it.
Aiden bursts the door down with an explosion of fire and enters the hall.
Red falls to the floor.
Aiden rushes him, pointing the rifle at his chest.
AIDEN
STOP!
RED
What the hell are you?
AIDEN
Take me to whoever runs this place. I want to have a chat with them.
Red sighs and struggles to his feet, he drops his pistol and kicks it towards Aiden, who picks it up.
Aiden swings the rifle over his shoulder and pushes the pistol into Red's back.
AIDEN
Lead the way.
EXT. PIT - CONT.
The battle rages, the Opilioids gaining the upper hand.
