Snow falls from the sky like cotton-balls. It was 15 days before Christmas, and Mckeayla was feeling down because she couldn't go outside and play in the snow. Her mom said she couldn't go because it was too cold like Antarctica. Her mom went to work, and She was still feeling down. But it was a school day. In fact the first day of school. It was Mckeayla's first day of high school. Her mom had to go to work, so Mckeayla had to take the bus. She hasn't taken the bus since grade 3 because she was getting bullied. Her mom always tried to call off, but nobody was working so she had to go in for work. When She arrived at school, She wanted to make the first good impression because it was her first day of high school. When she walked in she saw a girl named Mimi.
Mimi was in Her Math class and in her art class. They started to talk in art class about how Their futures were going to be like. When their art class was over, They went to lunch then Mimi asked if she wanted to come to her house after school. Mckeayla said sure. At the end of school They walked to Mimi's house, it was about an 5 minute walk to Mimi house. When they to Mimi house, They went upstairs to Mimi's room. They were doing their homework and kept talking Mckeayla was having fun at Mimi's house. Mckeayla wanted to Stay the night at Mimi's house, so Mckeayla called her mom and asked if she could stay the night. She said No because it was a school night.
She was sad because she couldn't stay the night at Mimi's house, but They could still see each other at school. The next morning, Mimi didn't come to school. Mckayla was worried because Mimi didn't come to school. She was sad because Mimi was the only friend she had. After school they wanted to go to the art museum for ideas for art class. when they walked, jaws were dropped and eyes were wide open. They saw three good ideas for their art class. they weren't sure which one to pick. They saw the Art instructor and she suggested the one with the pink background, and with butterflies. They wanted to recreate the piece of art that the art instructor suggested to them. it was going to be a bit tricky. When they started practicing, at mimi's house her mom walked in on her, and asked if Mckayla was staying past 8:00.
