Chapter Two- Familiar Faces

~Amaya/Owlette's pov~

30 minutes pass. This is SO boring and we wouldn't be here if it wasn't for Connor and the new girl. Ugh!
Suddenly, Mrs Thatcher opens her bitchy mouth and says "Alright, your detention is over, but don't break the rules again, understand?" "Yes Mrs Thatcher." We all say. " Good. Don't forget to make your parents sign this form about you having a detention. " She says, handing us the papers. "Amaya, how come you haven't said anything, is everything okay?" Lindsay ask me. "Yes umm, everything is fine, I'm just really stressed." I reply. Hmm I shouldn't be thinking bad about Lindsay. She seems really nice! I feel horrible.
"Amaya, don't be too stressed over things." Connor consoles me and gives me a hug. (Yaaaassss Catlette momento 😌)  "Well I gotta go now, see y'all tomorrow!" Lindsay says, leaving.

When I got home my mom asks me "Amaya, why were you so late I've called you many times!" I switch my phone on to see
"10 missed calls from mom"  Oh, shit! "And what is that in your hand?" My mom starts to interrogate me.  It's a form... I got detention, you need to sign it. "W-What?! My A-Amaya?! DETENTION?! NO, TELL ME THIS ISN'T REAL, AMAYA THIS IS A LIE RIGHT?!" My mom sounds like she's having a panic attack right now. "No mom, here's the form." I say and I hand over the form. God I'm so embarassed! "Amaya, I'm disappointed with you. You're grounded, and no phone for two days." My mom is not happy. " Wh-what but h-how am I gonna text my frie-" "NO BUTS! I AM DISAPPOINTED IN YOU AND THAT'S FINAL!" My mom yells. "Woah,woah,woah, honey what's all the yelling about?" My dad walks in.
" OUR Amaya got detention. " My mom says, with a sigh. "What? This is a joke right?" My dad says, surprised.  "No hun, it's not." My mom replies. She gives him the form. He let's out a DRAMATIC gasp and says "Amaya! This isn't who I expected you to be!" "I know, you guys expect me to be PERFECT BUT I CAN'T ALWAYS BE!" I run away and I slam the door.

I enter my room and start to cry. My dad walks in.
"Oh  sweet pea... We don't always want you to be PERFECT, we're just disappointed. "I know you aren't like that dad, but can't you explain to mom, why can't she understand?" " Mama just wants the best for you, now go to sleep my angel. " He consoles me and leaves the room. Alright, now is the time for me to transform into Owlette.

~Lindsay/Lynxie's pov~

I really fucked up. My mom is MAD at me! She's NEVER mad at me! Well, everyone is asleep maybe I can transform into Lynxie and explore this city, search for any bad guys and kick ass! I'm the real hero here! I transform into Lynxie. Omg, who's this little cutie~ It's me, Lynxie! I am  walking in city freely. I was running and enjoying being on my own until I bump into... KEVIN? AH! "Ouch! I'm so sorry are you oka-" Kevin was going to finish his sentence until he saw ME. "LYNXIE?" All the wolfies say. "What the fuck you think you're doing, following us around?" Rip asks me, aggressively. "Yeah! Now you came to our NEW town!" Howler backs Rip up. " Listen, I wasn't following any of y'all, my dad got a new job and we moved HERE. " I tried to explain.
"Of course, excuses after excuses." Howler says, with a sigh. "Yeah, when are YOU going to learn that you'll never be able to get revenge on us, right Kevin?" Rip says. "Y-Yeah, right, whatever you say Rip!" Kevin backs Rip up. Poor Kevin, he looks like he's being forced. "Listen, you guys don't stand a chance against me, just cancel the fight, and let's go our separate ways." I said ,trying my best to not get in to a fight. "HAH, you're just WEAK!" Yells Howler.
"Exactly, and we're stronger now, WOLFIES, GET HER!" Rip exclaims. Great. Just great.

And that's another chapter done ooooof, will Lynxie get saved, or not? Chapter 3 will unlock the secrets! 🔑 🤐
