He passed by the aisles.

"Why does it already smell in here?" One says as she laughs.

"Shut up he's right there!" Another girl points while laughing.

I try to drown out the noise of the girls behind me laughing and gossiping about him. I close my eyes and put my volume on higher.

Smack

"Y/N, pay attention in class," Teacher says hitting my desk with a ruler.

I take off my headphones and start to take notes. It's hard to pay attention when all i can hear are the annoying ass voices of my classmates.

He sits down, the person next to him gets up.

damn, i can't help but wonder how he feels right now.

Laughter

"Class settle down and pay attention, there is a least 10 of you failing my class right now. Nobody should be laughing." Teacher says.

They all turn to him for a second, then go back to the lesson.

I don't understand how he can take this. It's non of my business though.

The bell rings for lunch, I meet up with my best friend, fugo.

As we walk, I can't help but think about the things said in class today. how come he never says anything to them?

"Earth to Y/N." Fugo says.
"You've been daydreaming a lot, what's on your mind?"

"Nothing." I say, in a guarded tone.

"Whatever you say, let's get lunch." He says, walking me towards the cafe, where we always buy lunch.

I see him again, he isn't alone this time. I can't help but stare.

Clap

"Y/N! are you even listening to me?" he claps in my face.
"Just tell me what's up, you've been acting up all day." Fugo says.

"Man it's nothing I promise." I say, trying to get out of this confrontation.

"Just talk to me if you need anything, stop acting all depressed and mysterious."

I laugh, trying to get him off my mind.
"Shut up, let's just eat."

I walk back home, it's your typical fall afternoon. I thought I got him off my mind, but I see him again.

The sounds of the engine turning off and on, he hits is car in annoyance.
I start to walk slower to watch what's going on.
His failed attempts of starting his car makes me feel for him. It's cold out, who knows how long he's been at it; and by the looks of it, he doesn't have a coat.

"You can borrow this, or keep it, I don't care." I say, giving him my scarf.

"I don't need it." He says bluntly.

I stare at him blankly.
"You're shivering." I give him the same tone.

He stares at me, taking the scarf.
"Thanks."

I walk back home, that was my last encounter with him until my last year of highschool.
