We started our new lives surrounded by darkness. Cold. Frightened. We couldn't remember the lives we had before, not our parents, our friends, our siblings. It was all a blur.
"What happened?" Someone said, interrupting my thoughts. "I don't know, I can't remember anything." A female voice said, though, I couldn't tell who it was. "We're in a room," a boy said, as he put his hands on the wall, knocking once then twice. "It's made out of metal.." As I was about to speak the door opened, as someone turned on the light switch. I covered my eyes with my forearm, squinting. I looked up to see at young woman, blonde hair, and brown eyes. She was wearing a lab coat and holding a notebook. "Jacqueline?" She spoke, her voice was cold, sending shivers up at down my spine. A little girl stood up, I assumed her name was Jacqueline. Brown-eyes took her hand guiding her outside the "box." As she walked out the door closed behind her. Then it was all silent again. I felt slightly tired, closing my eyes I felt into a black abyss of sleep.
