Apollo Hope : Mission on Mars

chapter 2.1

- "Hi, my name is Derek Shepherd, welcome to Mars and on Station 19."

- "Hi Ben Warren. I'm the commander of Apollo Hope."

- "I was on Appolo New Born"

- "Derek, this is my crew. Maya Bishop, chief engineer. Carina DeLuca, our chief medical officer and biologist. Victoria Hughes, biologist. Andy Herrera, astrophysicist and astronomer. Jack Gibson, pilot. Taryn Helm, pilot and aeronautical engineer. Dean Miller, mechanic. And last but not least Travis Montgomery engineer."

- "Nice to meet you. I heard from Houston that you had a problem in flight?"

- "an asteroid hit our ship."

- "an asteroid the size of a child's marble," said Maya.

-"a marble that could have cost you your life" answered the Italian.

- "but all's well that ends well" said Travis.

Derek had stopped someone who was passing by.

-"Levi, meet the crew of Apollo Hope. Can you take them to their quarters please?"

- "Yes, with pleasure"

He had accompanied the group.

"You're lucky, we just redid this part here. Some material was sent to us a few weeks ago. You are envious, your beds are a little bigger and especially the mattresses have never been used".

- "you didn't get any?"

- "Houston told us that a shipment was coming from Cape Canaveral for us shortly. We put your names on the doors."

They had passed a door with 'Doctor DeLuca' written on it.

- "obviously I'm stopping here"

The next room was Taryn's, then Vic, then Andy, then Maya. Then the boys. After which the young man had gone back the other way.

- "uh, Levi, do you want a present?"

- "What do you mean astronaut Bishop?"

- "I'll give you my room."

- "and where are you going to sleep?"

- "I never sleep, I'm a ninja"

- "and if you want to settle down?"

- "there must be some rest rooms"

- "I don't think I have the right to leave you without a room"

- "Levi and if I tell you I'm going to sleep with my girlfriend, would that stay between us and you take my room as payment for keeping my secret?"

- "only married couples can sleep together"

- "that's why I pay you to keep my secret. Imagine a brand new bed... Comfortable..."

- "Hmmm, I'll take the mattress but I'm keeping my room"

- "and my secret?"

- "I'll just pretend I don't know. If anyone asks, I didn't know about it."

- "deal" said the blonde

-"I'll come back for the mattress at lights out. There are always people working but the teams are reduced".

- "it works for me"

She had watched him walk away before knocking on the Italian's door.

-"Doctor DeLuca, I've come to inspect your bunk" she said once the Italian had opened the door, looking more than serious.
