Chapter Four- Welcome to the Team

~Lindsay/Lynxie's pov~

Okay, another day of school. I see Connor, Amaya, and Greg. Connor sits next to me. "Hey Ca- I mean Connor!" I greeted him. I was going to say catboy!
"Hey, what were you going to call me before that?" He asked , and raised an eyebrow. Oh. my. God. He is on to me! "I-I w-was g-going to say Cameron." I stuttered. "Oh him, he's an asshole." Catboy starts to rant about him.

~Amaya/Owlette's pov~

I see Lindsay and Connor talking. The teacher is not here yet, thank god, I hate her. Suddenly, Cameron turns his chair around and says "BOI, YOU BETTER NOT BE TALKING ME YOU PIECE OF SHIT!" He yells at Connor. The class make "ooohs" and "ahhhhs" I was about to say to say something when, Lindsay gets up from her chair and says "You're lucky we're even talking about you, because most people wouldn't talk about someone who's a lame-ass." The whole class jeer. "Yo Cam, you gon let her talk to you like that!" Says one of his bros. Cameron grunts and steps towards her. "Hey newbie, you FUCK with me and I'll FUCK your life up." He bellowed. " Ay, don't mess with Lindsay, and DON'T fuck her life up, cuz I'll fuck yours up FIRST. " Connor snaps back. "Oooooh I'm SO scared. 💀" Cameron mocks Connor.
I get up from my chair and I say "Connor, it's not worth talking to losers like him, don't even speak about him." " You've hit a solid point babe! " Lindsay backs me up. I smile back at her. "Yeah man just go away don't make this a huge deal." Greg backs us up too. Cameron scoffs and sits back down. "Fuck you losers." He mutters. The substitute teacher comes in.
"Hey kiddos, yo teacher called in sick so I'll be teaching y'all today."

*After school*

~Connor/Catboy's pov~

I was talking with Lindsay and I kept eyeing that wristband on her wrist. And then I remembered the "fourth pj mask" that pj robot told us about. "Lindsay, where'd you get that wristband from?" I asked her. " O-Oh, my mom got it for me for my birthday. " She replied, and she was STUTTERING. This is kinda suspicious. No. You're so dumb Connor. She can't be a pj mask she probably doesn't know what pj masks are! "My ride's here, I will see you later Connor!" Lindsay says and waves goodbye. "Connor, how come you keep hanging out with Lindsay so much?" Amaya starts to interrogate me.
"I have to agree with Amaya, you like Lindsay or something." Greg teases me. Wtf. I know it seems like I am falling for her but trust me, I am NOT. I have feelings for Amaya, but it's not like she wants me. Plus, I feel this sibling bond with Lindsay. "No guys, Lindsay's new and I want to make her feel welcome." I try my best to explain that I don't like Lindsay in that way. "Mhm." Amaya says, rolling her eyes. "Anyways, let's try and find that fourth pj mask." I change the subject.

~Greg/Gekko's pov ~

"I don't see how I can help." An Yu says. "Well you're the smartest person we know An Yu!" I say. "Well, you have helped me in the city many times, so I can repay the favour. How about this, tell me any clues that you have found and I will come up with a suggestion." An Yu says, willing to help us. "Any clues?" Owlette asks. "Yeah. The new girl Lindsay, she has a similar band like us." Catboy states a fact.
"Yeah, it's the same color as Lynxie's outfit." I build up on what Catboy says. "And Lynxie has the same voice as Lindsay!" Owlette backs us up. " Who is Lynxie? " An Yu questions. "Some girl who we met last night, she looks similar to Catboy but without stripes, and she has a voice like this new girl in school called Lindsay." Owlette says. "May I make a suggestion?" An Yu asks. We all say yes. "This Lynxie's girl may be the new Pj mask, this is all that I think friends." An Yu is giving out facts right now!
"Thanks An Yu, see you again soon!" Says Catboy.
"Goodbye friends, good luck on finding your fourth pj mask." Says An Yu.

~Lindsay/Lynxie's pov~

I walk past and I see Kevin. I don't know why but I still blush due to that pouncing incident. Why do I turn red every FUCKING time I see him?

~Kevin's pov~

I see Lynxie. "Lynxie, what are you doing here?" I question her. She looks shocked to be spotted. "I- I uh, was passing by! Yeah." She stutters. She always stutters! "If you were passing by, then why are you standing behind a tree?" I interrogate her. "Uh, because this tree is lovely!" She replies, and gives the tree a hug. She's weird but kinda cute ngl. 😳 Wtf am I saying?! "Okay... But you need to leave this is Wolf territory if Rip or Howler see you here they will not spare you. I'm just trying to protect you." I warned her. Fun fact, Lynxie used to be friends with us until we started doing bad things, I miss the olden times.
"Thanks Kevin, I'll see you later." She leaves.

~Lindsay/Lynxie's pov~

He cares for me, that's sweet. Anyways back to what I was doing... I was going on walk until I heard something. "LYNXIE!" It was the PJ masks! "Guys!"
I yelled. "We need to talk to you, come with us." Says Catboy. OH MY GOD ARE THEY KIDNAPPING ME RN?! 😭 "Okay." I reply. "Pj robot, do you think she could be a pj mask?" Owlette asks. "BEEP BOOP! " The robot says. (sounds like BF from FNF 😭)
"YES?!" Yells Gekko. I'M A PJ MASK? NO WAY?!
"I-I am a P-pj mask?!" I ask and stutter. I always stutter. " YOU sure ARE. " Gekko says. "Welcome to the Team." Catboy greets me.
