Note: This is a poem I wrote for my seniors.
Your departure has been dated,
That's something yet to be acknowledged,
You've been relinquished,
As your making is finished,
But the day doesn't end here,
There are many more fears to be vanquished.
You gave this place 12 years of your life,
Leaving it forever was like being stabbed by a knife.
With so many twists,
10, I bet, was THE best..
Though you had to give many tests,
Yet.. On the whole it, it was a fun filled quest.
Now you've been let gone like a hot air balloon,
Your only motto is to reach the moon,
And when you reach that far off orbit,
You know you've got the right fit.
Fear will try to take over you,
You'd think of giving up too,
But all you have to do is -
Remember the first day of your school,
Ah..You were just a thumb-sucking fool,
But now the kid has melt..
You've transformed into a mature adolescent,
To me, it sounds like a wonderful blend.
Here's something you need to know,
As you grow,
You'll have to face several blows,
But you'll have to learn to let go..
You gave this place 12 years of your life,
Leaving it forever was like being stabbed by a knife.
Now the gate is open..
The thought has you paralyzed,
We stand there petrified.
You may think - ' Good things last never '..
I suggest you not to think so ever,
'Cause your journey isn't yet over,
You've just got enough power,
To move on to the never tower.
You gave this place 12 years of your life,
Leaving it forever was like being stabbed by a knife.
Farewell, seniors
Good riddance from your naughty juniors.. :)
