Suddenly bells were clanging and shouts were heard, making the four look up seeing several men swing down robes and lunging towards them with swords.

They were outnumbered.

Caspian tried to shoot as many men down with his crossbow, but he wasn't fast enough. He tried to protect Melody but failed as she was attacked from the other side. She dodged the swings of the sword from her attacker, before kicking his swordhand with her boot making the sword clatter to the ground. She wanted to attack him but another men came for her making her turn to him trying to dodge every swing as she rather not liked to be stabbed.

A loud scream was heard making everyone stop dead in their tracks. The four of them looked to the entrance were Eustace stood with a dagger to his throat.

"Unless you want to hear this one squeal like a girl again, I'd say you should drop your weapons", said a disgusting looking man in light brown robes.

"Like a girl?", protested Eustace.

"Now!", shouted the man.

Lucy threw her sword down angrily making it clutter loudly to the ground. Caspian put it down cautiously not wanting to anger the man and ending Eustace's life.

"Eustace", hissed Edmund before laying his sword down on the ground as well.

"Put them in irons", ordered the man that held Eustace, seemingly the leader of them.

Panic flooded through Melody making tears spring to her eyes. This couldn't happen. Her breath shortend and her body started trembling from the fear that cursed through her.

"Get your hands of me", demanded Lucy as iron shackles were put around her hands, seeing the distraught look on Melody's face, wanting to get to her.

Caspian and Edmund couldn't do much as Eustace would be killed if they tried to fight against it.

Iron shackles were put around Melody's hand making her look up into the face of the man, her face going completly blank.

"No", she whispered. "No, no, no! NO!"

She tried to wiggle her way out of the shackles and the tight grip,  the man held her arm in .

"No!", she screamed, recognizing the face of the man.

"Send those two to the dungeons", commanded the leader of the slave traders, pointing at Caspian and Edmund.

"Listen to me, you insolent fool! I am your king!", shouted Caspian at him. He tried to fight against the men that dragged him away. He heard Melody's screams and knew immediatly that something wasn't right. He had to help her.

Edmund tried to fight off the man as well, earning him a slap across the face.

"You're gonna pay for that", he promised furiously.

"Actually... someone else is going to pay. For all of you", spoke a man that only now showed himself, making it clear the he was the leader of the slave traders.

"No! Edmund! Edmund!", Lucy shouted, desperatly trying to claw her way out of it.

"Lucy!" Their shouts grew louder as the slave traders seperated Edmund and Caspian from the other three.

"Caspian! Help! Edmund! Caspian!", screamd Melody, scared for her life and praying that one of the boys could fight their way out.

"Melody!", shouted Caspian back in distress. He fought twice as hard against the men that held him, nearly escaping before more men made their ways towards him, dragging him away. The last thing he saw of the girls was the distraught look on Lucy's face and the utter panic on Melody's.
