"You've seen the rest; now get ready for the Hero Chaser who cannot die... Huh, sounds like clickbait to me." I shrugged, switching off my phone and jumbling around as the train was coming to a halt. Then, moving to the doors, I yawned, ready to go home. "Maybe I should order a pizza? Oh, maybe Sushi? Nah, curry sounds better."
Looking down at my phone again, I took my eyes off the sliding doors as the train entered the station. Then, looking up, I froze, seeing Miley pressing her head against the door with a wide grin.
"Found you."
"Oh, you got to be shitting me..." I whisper, standing back and waiting as Miley keeps smacking the button to open the sliding doors.
The other passengers began to take notice, moving into the other carriages. The doors slowly slid open as Miley pounced with a small knife. Sidestepping out of the way, she entered the next sliding door, getting her knife stuck. Trying to pull it out, I quickly pressed the button to open that door. As it did, I held onto the railings, jumping up and kicking her out as the train began to take off again.
"I'll get the bloody next stop." Sitting back down, I began tapping my foot as I saw the few passengers in my carriage looking worried behind me. Sighing, eyes closed, I stood up, walking forward as the glass shattered. Miley burst through now with a baseball bat. Swinging wildly, I fell back in my seat, avoiding her blow. Then, kicking her before, I held my arm up, blocking her bat and pushing her against the wall. "I was bloody counting my blessing in hopes of not running into you again."
"What can I say? You know how to treat a girl; I can't get enough of you!" She cackles, letting go of the bat and turning her hand into a cleaver. Looking to slash me to pieces, I activated my shield, throwing her aside. Then, sliding back, stabbing her hand into the train to stop her fall, she looked up with an insane smile. "I've been running around Super City all day trying to find you. Your roommate let me in, but fucking hell, waiting for more than twenty minutes drove me insane!"
"Glad to know I wasted your time doing absolutely nothing."
Wiping the blood from her cheek, she grinned, winking. "But it's all worth it for a round two against you!" Spinning around, Miley had readied a bow, firing an arrow at me. Avoiding it, she jumped at me in a full sprint with a spear at the ready. Rolling my eyes, I swung my arm behind me, creating a tornado that tore through the train's ceiling, sending Miley out of the carriage. "Let's get this over and done with."
Jumping up on the train, I ducked, avoiding a sign that could have taken my head clean off. Instead, Miley fired three shots from her pistol, all grazing my shield as I held up my arm. "You're already making headlines; am I jealous? Ha, you're putting words in my mouth! Fame, glory? I don't give a rat's shit about any of that! I want to fight, fight, fight! Chaos and destruction! Let's fight to our heart's contents!"
"Give me a break," I whisper, pulling my arm back as Miley is blown towards me. Flinching, she slid under my legs, swinging her bat again. Smacking against my arm, I held my ground, pulling it from her grip. I tossed it off the train, to her horror.
"What the fuck, man? That was my favourite baseball bat! Lionel Messi signed that!"
"The football player?"
"No, the soccer player!" She hissed, throwing a punch. Grazing my cheek, I used her momentum to pull her behind me, elbowing her with a gust of wind.
Stumbling ahead, she hit her head on the carriage lying on the floor. "Are we done now?"
Breakdancing back on her feet, she looked at me, spitting a clot of blood. "Are you kidding me? I'm just warming up, dude!" Throwing a knife, I deflected this, as Miley expected. She quickly tackled me to the ground as another set of billboards barely missed up. Turning her left arm into an axe, she began swinging down, trying to chop me up. I kept swaying left and right, avoiding them. "Why look to start fights with that number one Hero Chaser and a librarian when you can have all the fights you need with me!?"
