For the whole weekend, Taejin sang. Controlled this time, he didn't lose his voice. He also took some voice lessons from Yuseom's father as he was still rusty. Yuseom was quite busy, and his father laughed as he told Taejin that he was with the musical actress filming. Taejin was somewhat surprised at Taejin's charisma to inspire Yeji to continue filming despite being busy as an actress. But, he wasn't surprised as Yuseom also roped him into it as well. Rather than himself, Yuseom seemed more like the protagonist of the story and Taejin was there as a side character.

He scoffed at that thought as he found too many parallels with his life and one of a side character in a male-orientated rags-to-riches story. It would be easier if he was trapped inside such a world, living a life of shambles before being recruited by this sparkling-eyed kid who seemed to push him in the right direction as he had to deal with his failure in romantic ventures.

Taejin stepped outside of the elevator and walked into the office with a bright smile.

"Good morning everyone."

Everyone in the office looked over and greeted him back with excited smiles before reverting back to work. Without missing a beat, he sat down at his desk and signed into his PC. For that day, although no one could particularly tell what exactly was different about Taejin, he seemed a lot more amicable than usual, which lead to slightly more women from other departments reaching out to him.

When lunch came around, his phone buzzed and he saw a message form Damin, telling him to meet her in one of the private meeting rooms. Remembering about the coat, he got up casually and walked into the meeting room. Seeing Damin, he smiled as he closed and locked the door.

"Good day, Damin."

Damin, who had the coat in her arms, stared at his face which seemed to be brighter than before. She quickly glanced away as he looked at her without any changes in her expression.

"Yeah, you too." She extended her arm and handed him the coat.

As he received it, he laughed slightly with a smile. "Thank you, Damin."

Although her sharp tongue wanted to bite back at him for something, she seemed to refuse to speak any unpleasant fires, perhaps either out of a new consideration, or she felt uncomfortable by his face. Not only was it brighter than usual, but with his usual sunken eyes and cool facial expression swept away, he looked more charming and puppy-like. Like a real idol.

"Yeah." She said unenthusiastically.

Taejin stepped forward slightly and pulling the cost closer to his chest, he dipped his head down slightly to close the distance between him and Damin.

"Can I get some praise before I leave later? You have an important meeting during the time I'll be singing, so, I wanted to at least hear your words before I leave today."

Damin pressed her lips together as she saw his shining eyes that were expecting.

"Do well...?" She muttered a few words before letting out an exasperated sigh. "It doesn't matter what I say, you seem like you would be happy with whatever I say, as long as it's directed towards you."

Taejin, who couldn't exactly refute that, laughed slightly as he pulled his head back.

"Although I can see how it's plausible, I think it's the best I could ask for. I wanted to kiss you since that night..." He spoke in a softer tone, glancing away with an embarrassed expression, before then looking at her with his lips curled in a grin. "I know it's selfish of me to ask you of something without returning the favor, but perhaps put it on a tab? It's when I see you like this, at this moment, do I find myself acting more selfish about you. You can say no, I won't think anything of it. I hope it's not too much to ask."
