Kanina pa naghihintay si Aleina ngunit hindi nya alam kung tama bang tawagan na nya si Jc o manatiling nakaupo kasama si James.

"Don't worry, Abi. They'll be here any minute now.."

"I'm just worried.. Magdi-dinner na, kuya James."

Huminga ng malalim si Aleina. "Bakit parang ayaw ako ni Jasmine? I mean, bakit parang galit sya kay Jc?"

Nanatiling tikom ang bibig ni James. Ayaw nya munang magsalita dahil wala sya sa tamang pwesto.

Nakita naman nila ang pagbaba ni Jc at Jasmine kaya napatayo sya at hinintay na makalapit sa kinaroroonan nila. Jasmine's smiling and biting her lower lip. Nagtatakang nilingon ni James ang kapatid na nag-iwas lang ng tingin.

"So how did it goes, hon?" pabulong na tanong ni Aleina kay Jc na ngayong mariing nakakapit sa bewang ni Aleina.

Instead of answering Aleina's question, she kissed Aleina. At inayang pumasok sa loob. Hindi nag-uusap ang dalawa hanggang sa matapos ang dinner.

"So, Aleina's joining us later?" ngiting tanong ng tita ni Jc at ang barbecue session nila ang tinutukoy nya.

Sasagot na sana si Jc ngunit naunang sumagot si Aleina.. "I'm afraid I cannot, Tita. I've been very busy today so I might need a good rest? Babawi na lang ako bukas?" ngiti nito.

"Oh, ganoon ba? That's ok, hija. So, Jc will be upstairs with you?" lingon nila kay Jc na nakangiti.

"Oh, yes! He needs to let her girlfriend rest.. And sure he'll be back with us. Right, Cal?"

Nagtinginan ang pamilya ni Jc. " Ah, sure, Jasmine. He'll be back after I got my sleep."

"Jasmine! Nako, Aleina, it's okay kung magstay na kayong dalawa doon. Alam naman namin na, you know, you two are going to be a beautiful married couple soon. So, go. Don't mind Jasmine."

Magalang na nagpaalam sila sa mga matatanda at sa mga pinsan ni Jc.

"Matutulog na ako." humiga si Aleina matapos nyang makita si Jc na tapos na ring maligo.

"Do we have any problem here, hon?"

"I should be the one asking you that. Am I too paranoid or just too OA to feel that since you arrived with Jasmine you're this cold! You can't even look at me! Is there something she told you that made your mood like this? She doesn't like me? Fine! She doesn't want you to get married? Fine! She can't accept me? Fine!" tuluy-tuloy na pahayag ni Aleina at tumayo..

"Hon, you're taking it wrong. C'mon, we should rest, you said you were tired." he tapped the bed.

"Tired? You seriously did buy that? I said that to talk to you! You knew that I've been doing anything the whole day! I've been---"

"Stop! You're acting like a spoiled stupid eight year-old brat!"

"Yes? A stupid brat?" di makapaniwalang tanong nito.

"Look. I didn't mean that.. I am sorry. It's just that--"

"We need to stay here with them until our wedding day."

"Wait.. What? No! We can't--"

"You're a stupid weird jerk!"

"Sorry, ok? Why are we even fighting?" nilapitan nya ito at niyakap. Aleina could not resist so she gave him back the hug.

"I am sorry, I got furious. I love you, Jc.."

"Know that I love you more.."

"But you called me a stupid brat.."

"Sorry. Didn't mean that, ok? Now can you give me a good night kiss, then? A good night madness instead?"
