"I'm sorry okay! I just hate her!" Cupi apologized, as she wined about how Hunter began ignoring her all week. Camilla was there to help her, knowing Hunter as a good friend of her's already.
"I know, Cupi, but you can't disrespect one of his idols like that." Camilla says, playing with the girl's hair, Cupi looked up to the older female, sighing. "He idolizes HER? Of all people?" She wondered, angrily.
Camilla giggles, before nodding. Cupi rests her head on her legs, wrapping her hands around her ankles. She kind of felt bad, since Hunter shared a lot of stories about him and Lady Kinoko to her.
She felt like a bad friend — but she mistreated the Wind Kingdom refugees back then, and she wanted revenge. Even the Sun Kingdom wouldn't do that!
Camilla noticed her expressions and placed a hand on Cupi's shoulder. "Calm down, and talk to him gently about it, I'm sure he'll understand, and maybe forgive you! Give it a shot, Cupi!" Camilla assures her.
'She's kind of correct though.' Cupi thought, she soon stood up, and walked away, before muttering a thank you to Camilla, who smiled as she watched the younger walk down the stairs of the roof.
"Tree!" Mocha happily announces, falling on the floor of the house. Kae glanced at her. The living room was messy with history books laying around, and so many images of trees all over the wall.
"I found it!" She says, getting up immediately. "Found what?" Hunter muttered, moving a piece of his soldiers to attack Kae's. "Tree! The one in Opilus's book!" She mentions, pointing at the books she held in her arms.
Hunter and Kae shared a look before turning to face Mocha, with interest hiding in their orbs. Mocha instantly knew they wanted to know whay tree she was talking about.
She sat up on the couch, cross-legged and held the book open on the page she had bookmarked. She breathed in before clearing her throat, placing her index finger on the first word.
"The tree of secrets, located in an unknown area in the valley of misfists, deems to answer any elemental question that has to do with the magic. The last known user to ask a question was Opilus, a previous High Lunarity one from the Sun Kingdom."
"Once reached, you will be given a test to know if you're worthy of knowing, and once you pass a gate to the secret world will open for you just to ask one question."
She finishes off, before turning to Opilus's spell book which was beside her on the couch. "It says here that Opilus conducted seperal expirements that had to do to a tree's answer, yet he couldn't find a conclusion."
"It also has a map, take a look!" She says, holding the book up for them to see. They both stare at it, a detailed map of a large valley, before reading it's name. "Misfit's Valley's map, maybe he left directions in there?" Kae suggests.
"As if he knew Mocha would find the book." Hunter says, stroking his chin. "We should go!" Mocha beams, closing the book and hugging it tight. "Are you out of it? Of course not! It's not safe there ONE BIT!" He warns.
"Yeah, Shi members inhabit that place, and oh boy you don't want to encounter one." Kae says, making a 'you dont want' pose with his hands and face.
"I've encountered one twice, Cupi did once too." She says, putting the book on the small coffee table near by. "Did you fight one?" "No bu-" "Keep it, a Shi took Moon's life, and reporters said Eyen Roshe was found fighting Shi twenty-nine a few days ago."
"I KNOW! I was there when both happened! I was the victim!" She snaps back, before sighing. "I'm also the reason Moon died that day," She bites her lip, remembering the moment when she collapsed.
Kae shakes his head, before relaxing on the couch. He doesn't want his friend risking her life in a very dumb way, just to find out why the book chose her. Cupi soon joined them, before sharing eye contact with Hunter, who felt annoyed.
"I'll get going, see ya." Hunter says, before walking past Cupi, brushing his shoulder with her's. The girl exhaled, crossing her arms. "What happened?" She asked, looking down at the younger girl.
"I'll go to Misfits valley." She claimed, pumpimg her fists. Cupi stared at her wide-eyed. "That's the most dangerous valley, Mocha, don't go there-" "I know!" She smiled, before taking some of the books and rushing to the room she shared with Cupi.
Cupi face palmed mentally, before walking off to the kitchen. Kae was left alone, trying to memorize all the information he missed, Mocha seems to know better than he had ever knew (probably because they were studying.) And he's happy, because he won't be of good help.
Cupi took a cup from the cupboards, before walking barefoot on the checkered tiles of the kitchen floor. She stared blankly at where she was stepping, and gripped the cup tightly.
She then turned to the sink, and opened it, filling the cup with water so she can drink. Mocha was trying to get herself killed, venturing into Misfit Valley? Really? She sighed deeply.
She gulped down her water quickly, as it felt weirder than normal, she then put the cup aside, before washing her face with water. After she cleaned her safe with kitchen toilet paper, she turned around to see Kae.
"By the way, Cupi, did you tell Mocha yet?" He asked calmly, standing at the doorway of the kichen. "Pardon you, Kae?" She asked, confused. He shook his head again in dissapproval.
He walked to her, just a few inches away from the other girl. He looked at her sternly and said. "You should stop using your last name..
.....Kyo." Cupi froze upon hearing that name, her blood turning cold.
