When Queen Glory told Melody she was going to Jade mountain Melody was overjoyed, but nervous.

"A-are you sure? What if I-"

"You'll be fine Melody, you'll love my friends!" Glory reassured her daughter.

"I guess you're right. I'm just really nervous," Melody admitted.

When Melody packed up all her stuff, she made her way to Jade Mountain. When she got there, she saw an old mudwing, witch was a deep brown.

"Hello, you're Melody, right?" The mudwing looked at Melody, his unintentional glare causing her to go silent. You should introduce yourself! She thought.

"Y-Yes, my name is Melody," she replied, nervously. Her scales nearly turning a dark green.

The towering Jade Mountain made her nervous, after all, she only lived in trees with her queen. After a while of staring, seven other dragons came out.

"Meet your Winglet! You will be living with seven other dragons, now you should also learn your teachers' names, my name is Clay. I'll be your herbs and healer teacher, now I'll tell you what your other teachers' names are but you'll know what they do. Webs, Tsunami, Sunny and Starlight. Now you need to meet your Clawmates!"

Then eight dragons came out of the entrance tunnel and greeted Melody.

"Hi!" the brightly colored Rainwing said, "My name is Treeclimber!"

"Oh, I know you! You are the one who left the rain forest about six months ago."

The dragons looked at Melody, then at the Rainwing known as Treeclimber.

"Well anyways my name is Wheles, and this is my brother, Walter,"

The two skywings had huge wing spans unlike anything Melody had ever seen. Wheles was a dull red while Walter was a bright red with a visible burning passion. The next dragon was a Sandwing.

"My name is Hamanaka, but my friends call me Halla for short,"

The sandwing was rough yellow with bits of what looked like red, their horns stuck up curling like a spiral, like the horns of a wild goat.

"Wait," Clay looked around, "where's Rocket?"
