(a few days later)

"how are you?" billies therapist asked her. she didn't know how to respond, billie knew she wasn't okay but she didn't know how to define it.

"fine" she mumbles back, her therapist writes something down before asking another question.

"have you harmed yourself recently?", her therapist was horrible. billie doesn't even know how she was qualified. "no" billie lied, she knew if she told the truth they'd send her away.

billie sat there with her knees to her chest, keeping as far away from anything as she could.

"so last session you ran out.. why?" why? because billie fucking hates her. "dont know"

"billie, if you want us to help you'll need to cooperate with us" her therapist sighs.

"i don't want or need your fucking help!" billie lashes out as she gets up and leaves.

another unsuccessful therapy session, she doesn't know why or when her mom is calling them off, they don't help.. if anything they make it worse.

she started to run, as far as she could. it felt like she was always running from something.

"fuck!" billie yelled as she tripped over a rock, she looked behind her to see police chasing after her. what the fuck?

she quickly got up and ran, but soon enough the police caught up to her and tackled her to the ground, multiple people surrounding.

as she was getting carried to the police car she sees a few of her classmates.

"what the fuck am i here for?" billie yells as the police drive her away.

"you're under arrest for assault and theft" he says, "what? what the fuck are you talking about?! i just came out of therapy" she says.

"exactly! we got a call from the therapy center. your therapist sandra jones reported you for assaulting her and stealing before running out"

what?

as billie gets chucked into the jail cell she notices her therapist standing with a smirk.

"sandra what the fuck? you know fine well all i did was yell at you then leave! i never touched you nor did i steal anything!" billie yells at her through the bars.

"i've never liked you billie, plus, why not spice up your life?" she laughs as she walks away.

maggie is currently at home in shock at the call she just received, she knows fine well billie wouldn't do anything of the sort.

she tells patrick and finneas and they all head to the police station.

"we are billie o'connell's family, here to see her. she just got put in" maggie tells the woman at the front desk.

they wait for a while until they're able to go into a room with billie and one other police officer.

billie was a mess, she was distraught. "baby" maggie whisper as she hugs her daughter.

"i didn't do anything mom! she's a fucking liar" billie cried, "i know baby" maggie says as she tries to calm her daughter down.

the whole family was a mess, maggie and patrick were arguing with an officer telling him they will pay as much money as it takes to get their daughter out as she didn't do anything.

"you'll need to wait until monday, it's sunday so just go home and get some rest.. officer jones please don't argue with others whilst in your job" one of the officers said, coming over as he caught eye of the argument.

finneas sat in the same room with a crying billie, "i didn't do anything! she's a liar" billie cried into her brothers chest. they all knew billie didn't do anything, but it was sandra's word against theirs and to be honest.. sandra is a rich and well known woman.

after a while billie calmed down and her family had to leave, "i believe you by the way, i used to be friends with sandra" the officer that was in the room with billie said as she cuffed her up to walk her back to her cell.

billie just hummed in response, "she was a liar, a well known liar. she'd happily do anything to ruin people's lives" the officer tells billie.

"tell me about it, she's been my therapist for a while and she always tells my family i like to lash out and be very rude to her, she also told them i said i wished my family was dead.. which i never said" billie explained.

"alright, i promise you won't be in here long sweetheart" billie gives her a soft smile as the officer leaves.

this is just what billie needed, a fucking criminal record. sandra has so much money to her name she can easily win this trial. billie and her family are middle-class.

officer lea, which was the officer that had just spoken to billie had her mind set on getting billie out of this.

she's been a victims of sandra's lies, officer lea looked through billies record to see it clean, she's never even been suspended from school.

today had been a long day for billie, she was aching to be in bed so she could cry and drink.

this trial wasn't going to be easy. why did the universe hit billie with this?
