chapter 1: Does Lucas really have a soft side?

It was last period I had food and nutrition but that was literally the worst subject, some one just always has to end up with flour all over them or a egg cracked at the top of your head and today that person was me. I was in a rush to get home and bathe because these eggs started to smell really bad. As the bell rang i grabbed all my stuff and headed to my car. "Lizzy" shouted a familiar voice, it was my best friend Eliana of course. As i turn around i found her right up to my face "As much as i don't want to ride in that old thing, would u please give me a drop home" she begged with her sad face making her eyes water and her lips frowning."okay first of all shelly is not an old thing but yes ill drop u home only if you tell her sorry" I said with my arms folded and staring at her. " okay fine, but you really need a new car."

I just ignored her comment knows that theres no point in arguing, she really doesn't take no for an answer.
Eliana Smith she is my best friend but of course my only friend too, she had light brown hair with bits of blond, her hair was wavy. She had tiny little ears people use to call her the tall elf and her lips where always pink and slit big, she had freckles on her cheek bones and a little on her nose just like me. She was tall and built we work out ever Wednesday, she had a hour glass shape.And of course the boys love her it was once in a while u will see her single. As for me (Elizabeth Willson) i had wavy dark brown hair, slit big lips a tiny nose, I wore glasses, i am tall and I'm always reading. But of course every one asks how can a "geek"as the call me be friends with the amazing Eliana Smith.Our friendship is like the strongest thing alive.
As i reached to the car i forgot one of my books in my locker, so i decided to run back for it, but as i was running i ran into the worst person ever Lucas Clark, the playboy of the school of course everyone wanted to date him... well except me. I knew Lucas from kindergarten but I bet he doesn't remember me, but he is the biggest jerk alive he could date about 5 girls at the same time he annoys me."Sorry Lucas, as u can see I'm in a rushing and I smell like crap" I said feeling embarrassed. I had a feeling Eli was laughing at me. "let me guess food and nutrition, thats why the key is to sit at the back" I was surprised that he even talked to me. "Move out of my way, watch where your going next time" he said with his mood changing immediately, it really looked like he had a soft side but didn't really want anyone to know like he was hiding it. For a second there i saw the Lucas i knew from kindergarten, Does Lucas really have a soft side?
