Chapter 7:The Woods

Kara POV

I stop running when I come across somthing of my past,the(Side/Above) old building in the back of the woods.I didnt even realise I was running in its direction...Its almost like it was pulling me toward it.I take a step forward tripping on a large rock.I fall to the ground hitting my head then everything went black.

Dream/Flashback

I run through the woods with Justin by my side,we reach the old building and hesitate when we see her...We call her Jakie In Black.She stands there in the same black dress,with the same long black hair.She slowly tilts her head to the side,"Kara come."she orders in a soft but powerful voice,"no...please I dont want to hurt anybody,go away Jakie."I say out of breath from running.Justin roughly pushes me toward Jakie,She disapears and I loose control of my body as I see my little sister Aubriana in the top window of the old building.I start running toward the old building...but its not me its Jakie.Aubriana screams as I run into the house,"stop Jakie!!"I beg but it doesnt help.Justin locks the old door behind me/Jakie as we run inside...why is he helping Jakie?I search for Aubriana running through the house,and all I can hear is her screams.Then everything goes black and I can still only hear her screams.

End Of Dream/Flasback

Kara POV

I woke up in the same place that I blacked out in.I start crying on the ground,and I unexpectadly let out a scream because the pain of my past hurts so much.That dream was not just a dream...It was a flashback of when....I stop thinking and cry harder,hot tears roll down my face and onto the ground.I curl into a ball not worrying about bugs.I finally stop crying after I dont even know how long.I roll over and lay on my back starring at the night sky blocked by tall trees.I just lay there in my muddy,dirty,ripped clothes until I hear a voice,"Kara...your back."I can tell its not one person its two,Jakie and Aubriana.I swiftly stand up and take two steps backwards into the darkness of the forest,a horrified expression on my face.The cold winds send shivers down my spine and I grabe a stick off the ground and hold it as a weapon in my left hand.I cant even beggin to explain how afraid I was in that momment.

I suddenly see a bright light beam ahead of me,and someone taps me on the shoulder.I turn around so fast,I accidently drop the stick and fall to the ground out of fear.Then I realise that its just Cameron,Cameron!

"Kara thank god I found you,are you okay?"He says with concern as he kneels down beside me,"I-I dont know."I say barely getting the words out as I stare into the distance."I heard you screaming when I was looking for you in the woods,what happened?"He asks touching the back of my head and helping me up off the ground,"I dont want to get you involved,its to dangerous."I say wincing and grabing the back of my head,"Kara your bleeding on the back of your head."He gasps,"Im fi-fine...can we get out of here please."

"Yea...but which way?"he asks shinning the flashlight around us,"I think its that way,"I say pointing to the side of me,"ok...maybe we can make it out of here before morning,I dont think we'll be making it to school tomorrow."

"Im sorry about all this."I say

"Dont be"he says starting to walk and I walk beside him as we make our way through the woods towards what we hope is the way out.

Cameron POV

After Kara ran off I went into the school and grabbed a flashlight...I had my parents make up a dumb excuse for me not to go to school and went into the woods to go find her,I had to find her.I searched for about 3 hours before hearing a scream from the direction that I was currently moving in.I heared another one and quickly ran towards the sound.I slow down to catch my breath,I look up shinning the flashlight on an old building in the middle of the woods.I see Kara standing there in front of it with a stick in her hand.She takes two steps backwards,as I start to walk up behnd her.What is she doing out hear...its creepy and cold.This is not safe Im glad I found her before somthing happened.I tap her on the shoulder,and she turns around so fast she falls to the ground dropping her stick. After asking her if shes okay,and what happened she tells me that its to dangerous,what could possibly be so bad.I touch the back of her head to see blood on my hand...Alot of blood."Kara your bleeding on the back of your head."I gasp,"Im fi-fine...can we get out of here please."I guess we should probably get out of here so I ask which way because I have no Idea,"I think its that way,"she says pointing to the side of her,"ok...maybe we can make it out of here before morning,I dont think we'll be making it to school tomorrow."I say,she tells me that shes sorry but why would she be sorry...she really has no reason to be sorry and she says it alot."dont be ,"I say as we start walking.After about an hour of walking Kara calapses onto the ground without warning.I start to panic a little as I kneel down beside her.I leaned down to hear that shes still breathing,she must have just passed out or somthing.I pick her up bridle style and start walking again.A little surprised to how light she is ,it wasnt hard carrying her at all.About an hour the sun started coming up and I literally just reached the school.I decide to bring Kara to my house because honestly I dont want her parents putting her back in that place.Im afraid that they might do that if she comes home like this,and I know she doesnt want to go back either...who would.

I climb the fire escape to my bedroom and climb through the window.I put Kara on my bad thinking if I should wake her up or not.I think I'll let her sleep a little then I'll wake her up.I make sure she is comfortable then I go and take a shower,this was a really really long night for bolth of us.After my shower I take a nap in the spare bedroom of the house,I hope she doesnt freak out if she wakes up before me.
