SUNNY POV Meand my best friend, Malachi were both in my room when I got an email from my manager. I had recently auditioned for a horror movie called the black phone as Sofia hopper, Vance hoppers little sister so I knew I had either got the part or a letter saying good job. I think of those letters like good job for wasting my time on casting.
"I can't do it" I said "well hurry up before I open it for you" Malachi complained "you wouldn't you love me too much" i said. I clicked the email, the silence was Extremely loud I saw big bold letters saying script which had meant I got the role!! "I thought I did good" i said messing with Malachi "wait you didn't get the role" "nah" "I'm sorry Sunny" "SIKE I got the role" me and Malachi both held hands jumping up and down in my room saying "I got the role" and "you got the role".
I then heard loud ass footsteps running up the stairs I knew exactly who it was the one in only Adam Sandler my father. He opened my door so fast I thought it was an intruder me and Malachi screamed like little kids as he jumped in my arms as if I could carry him but he weighs so much, so I immediately fell to the floor.
My dad raised an eyebrow as he saw us on the floor me and Malachi both told him what happened he hugged me saying good job, Malachi joined the hug to bad wasn't there, My mom wasn't here but she was in an interview,
Malachi stayed for dinner but he couldn't stay the night which was for a reason I didn't know for but I let it slide.
