A Shadow's Diamond

Chapter 4

"Come get your fresh apples!"

A female snow leopard walks down a sidewalk as she looks around at the buildings that surround her. Her emerald, green eyes lay on everything as she smiles. She wears a white shirt with a pink heart. The shirt only has 1 sleeve while the other does not. A black tank top sit underneath the white shirt as the outfit has pink shorts that go up to her stomach. The outfit is completed with stockings that go up to mid-thigh and pink-red boots. Her light pink short hair bounces as she soon begins to quicken her pace down the sidewalk to where she finds a table where a lion with dark blue hair sits at and a tiger with a hood covering her head sits as well. The snow leopard slows down her pace and approaches the table, "Hey girls!"

"Diamond!" The tiger says happily.

Diamond smiles at her friend, "Hey Olympia, how was the concert last night?"

"Oh, it was great! I would definitely go back to another concert." Olympia's tail begins to go side to side.

Diamond sits down at an empty seat at the table as she smiles at the lion, "Hey Ray, how was the blind date?"

Ray shrugs, "It sucked my balls, but the guy was too much of a pushover and kept on saying that he didn't want to do anything other than sit down and drink."

"So, he wanted to get you drunk?" Diamond asks concerned.

Ray nods, "Yeah, where is Snow and Petal?"

"They are at school; I told them to meet me at home so that they can get a snack in before doing whatever they want." Diamond says happily.

"You know that they aren't your kids, right?" Ray raises an eyebrow.

"I know." Diamond nods.

"I still can't believe that you went through such a traumatic experience!" Olympia says in astonishment.

A waiter walks over to the table, "Hello ladies, what would you like?"

"A coffee, no cream. Add extra sugar into it." Ray answers first.

Olympia says happily, "I would like a pineapple and mango refresher!"

Diamond says calmly, "I would like a green tea please."

Waiter writes down the orders before walking away.

Ray turns her head towards Diamond, "I mean this with every inch of my being, you need to take care of yourself. I noticed that when we first found you, you weren't ok."

Diamond nods and looks down, "I know, I am grateful for you guys finding me and the 2 kittens. It does mean a lot."

Olympia grabs onto Diamond's hands, "We love and care about you. You have done nothing, but nonstop work. You need to relax."

Diamond looks at Olympia and smiles, "I will try today."

Olympia smiles at her friend and let's go.

Ray looks up to see a green hedgehog wearing a leather jacket approaching their table, "Girls, we have company."

The green hedgehog walks up to the table with a mischievous smile, "Hello ladies."

Diamond looks at the green hedgehog before looking over at Ray to see that she is ready to punch the intruder. She looks over at Olympia to see that she isn't amused. Her gaze turns back onto the hedgehog.

"Can we help you?" Ray answers.

"I am looking for someone named Diamond, know them?"

Ray crosses her arms, "Sorry, but we don't know any Diamond. It's just me and my girls, Olympia and Polly."

The hedgehog nods, "I understand, by the way, my name is Scourge. Scourge the hedgehog."

"Not interested." Ray says angrily.

Scourge glares at Ray before turning towards Diamond and smiles, "Hello Ms. do you know anyone named Diamond?"

Diamond looks over at Olympia and Ray as they shake their heads. Diamond looks up at Scourge, "I am afraid not."

Scourge nods, "I see." He soon grabs onto Diamond's wrist and yanks her out of her seat, "I know that you all are lying. You are the only snow leopard in this town."

Diamond tries to yank her arm out of Scourge's grasp. She looks over to see Ray jumping out of her seat and punching Scourge in the face which he reluctantly let's go of Diamond.

Ray looks over at Diamond, "Run!"

Diamond nods and runs off.

Scourge shakes his face as he glares at Ray. He runs at her which he was soon kicked in the head by Olympia.

Diamond runs until she takes a turn into an alleyway. She breathes heavily as she looks around her to see if Scourge followed her. Luckily, he didn't. Probably busy with Ray and Olympia. She places a hand over her breast as she soon looks up to see a jackal leaning against the wall on the other side of the alleyway. She removes her hand from her breast as she places her hands against the wall behind her.

"Hello Ms. Diamond. I would like if you would come with me and not make it a fight." Infinite says calmly.

Diamond starts to run again until the alleyway got blocked off. She stops as she is met with a wall of blocks. She turns over to see Infinite getting off the wall and turning towards her. She soon breathes in and grabs onto the air in front of her. She swings her down to where a plasma sword has appeared in her hand. She swings it at the wall to where she can be able to get out. She opens up her hand and the sword disappear as she jumps through the hole that she made and continues on running.

Infinite chuckles to himself, "Interesting abilities." He soon disappears and begins to follow her.

Diamond runs to where she is met with a white hedgehog and a hedgehog that looks familiar to her. She starts to speed up until she jumps over the duo and lands on her feet. She turns back to see if the jackal is following her before she turns ahead of her to see the jackal in front of her. She stands up straight as she glares at the jackal.

Silver and Shadow look behind them to see the snow leopard glaring at Infinite.

Silver says, "Wait..."

Shadow begins to experience a headache as he is met with a memory of a female snow leopard that looks just like the one in front of him. He shakes his head and thought to himself, she has the answer.

Infinite says nicely, "Come with me, Diamond. I won't hurt you."

"Over my dead body." Diamond states as she makes 2 plasma swords appear.

Infinite holds up a hand and entraps Diamond in a cage, "No need for that."

Diamond cuts her way through the cage and drops onto her feet. She glares at Infinite before Shadow runs up to Infinite and kicks him in the chest.

Silver puts a hand onto Diamond's shoulder, "We got him."

Diamond looks at Silver before looking over at Shadow beating up Infinite. Her eyes widen, "Shadow?"
