I was sitting in class, almost falling asleep since the teacher was sooo boring. Suddenly, she called on Robin Arellano, a classmate of mine.
T: "Robin, since you look like you're paying sooo much attention, why don't you tell me what letter x represents in this equation?"
R: uh. 6?
I burst out laughing at his answer, well knowing that I didn't know the answer either.
T: Y/N!... Alright, since you're so smart, why don't you tell me what x represents?
Y: uhh, 482?
The whole class started laughing like crazy, even Robin.
The bell rang, and everybody started leaving. My next class was super boring, even more than math! So I decided to skip. I ran to the (unisex) bathroom and closed the lid on the toilet so I could sit down, then a roach came up from the toilet seat.
I squealed and fell backwards since my backpack was too heavy. Then, robin walked in.
R: wtf happened to you?, Miss "482".
Y: shut up mister "6"
He smiled a bit, then I got back up.
R: what are you doing here? It's time for class.
Y: I should be asking you the same, but if you really wanna know, I wanted to skip.
R: really? Same.
Y: Ms.Harris SUCKKKSSS
R: for realll
Y: surprised you agree with me on something.
R: whatever. Hey, uh.. do you maybe wanna skip together? It's last period anyway..
Y: uh, why the sudden question?
I said, gripping onto my backpack even tighter.
R: just answer the question.
Y: sure! But where.. here?
I said, kind of laughing a bit.
R: no shithead, follow me.
I followed him into the hallway and immediately got chills up my spine.
Y: what if we get caught! You know administrators are roaming the halls now? What if they catch us and give us detention?
I kept asking questions when he suddenly stopped walking and closed my mouth.
We heard footsteps and robin immediately grabbed my wrist and pulled me into a janitor's closet.
We were so close I was blushing so hard, but it was also very small and dark.
Y: I'm scared
I whispered.
R: shut up.
I held onto him without even thinking, once I realized what I was doing I immediately apologized.
Y: I'm so sorry!!
I whisper-shouted.
R: it's okay, just shush.
I forgot to mention, it was also really cold in there, so I was shaking most of the time.
R: are you okay?
Y: yeah just a bit cold..
R: I think we can get out now..
He opened the door and we ran to the exit and left the campus.
Y: WOAH. DID WE JUST DO THAT
R: yes we did
I squealed.
Y: where do we go now?
R: follow me
Robin took me to a beautiful garden filled with flowers and trees.
R: this is where I usually go to when I skip, or I go here after a fight, it keeps me calm.
Y: this is so beautiful robin!
I said, going back and forth looking at every different flower there was. Robin just laughed and sat on the bench.
